...where anyone can see me....:hehe:

It's basically WB calling dibs on Jenkins's future projects. I mean WB will have the first say in those matters. The studio will decide what to do with 'em. The contract will stipulate how many movies or projects is in the 'First Look' deal. It usually happens after some director delivers a massive BO juggernaut for a studio. Universal signed Jordan Peele for a first look deal after the smashing success of 'Get Out', that'll allow them to produce and distribute his next projects. Plus it allows the studio to offer other projects that they have acquired to the director.

I meant PATTY getting first look on a Wonder Woman sequel and making the decision as to the film's direction with or without her. Also, first look on WB's material, both licensed and original. I don't see her giving WB first look on her personal material without quid pro quo.

Patty, Gal and Robin having dinner at Mr. Chow last Thursday night. Patty just confirmed she closed the deal with WB. The she takes her two main actresses in the film to dinner. Mr. Chow is known for being a hotspot in Hollywood: paparazzi always standing outside. Stars go there to be seen. Going there is to make a statement. And whilst I have no doubt that the three of them are great friends this dinner sounds more like business rather than just three girlfriends having a night out. My guess? Antiope is back for Wonder Woman 2. Robin Wright is rumored to be an important part of the reshoots Whedon has done recently for Justice League. Something is boiling.

Great that Patty has been officially signed. And she looks like she's just spotted a shooter and is about to save Gal.

Geena Davis is amazing. Give her the role of the resurrected goddess Artemis.

Geena Davis Wants to Be in Wonder Woman 2

Well she's certainly tall enough at 6ft. Now everyone wants to be in WW.

I wouldn't mind seeing Elizabeth Debicki in a WW sequel, although she'll need to put on some muscle.

Of course everybody wants to be in Wonder Woman 2. Even Theron said so, and while I admit my extreme dislike for her both on and off the screen, I absolutely loathe the fact that she went as far as saying (without naming names) that she had turned down a role in Wonder Woman originally. This is breaking some sort of code among actors for you're not supposed to say if you were the first choice for a role, because it plays down the actor that came after you. It was rumored she turned down Antiope which ended in the more fitting and perfectly cast Robin Wright. there are reasons to believe that between Theron and Wright there's some bad blood because Theron dated Wright's ex husband Penn and it was rumored that there was some bad feelings, gossip has it.

I'd say that I'd like to see Patty sticking to her original team, minus pine and plus more Antiope. I'd say that if they have to bring back one of the casualties that has to be Antiope, not Trevor. But of course, I'm the minority and I know it. I just hope Trevor doesn't play a major part in the sequel, like he sadly did in the first one. I want more Themyscira and more Amazons.

Can't wait to see what Patty and Co. have in store for Wonder Woman 2.

With the origin story being such a breakout success, and the character established with audiences now, the next film could really be something special.

Ann Wolfe was perfectly fine as Artemis in Wonder Woman. If they don't bring back Ann Wolfe as Artemis in Wonder Woman 2 it would be sort of an insult.
If Geena Davis has a role in Wonder Woman 2 it should be as Circe, not as a character previous cast.

They said the goddess Artemis, not the Amazon Artemis.

Never seen that pic before. Is it a promo for the BR/DVD?

I hope no-one who is only 5'2" asks to play an Amazon in the sequel. Someone like Isla Fisher would never work. They couldn't be having forced camera angles for her and not for all the other Amazons who stand 5'10" and above.

Isla Fisher would be a really good choice to play a descendent of Etta Candy.

Antiope.

Although I really liked Pine's Trevor, they gave his character a complete arc, rather than making it a multi-film deal. It was a satisfying end, and something that will cling to Diana for the foreseeable future. Bringing him back as anything but a flashback or force-ghost will be cheating it, and rob the powerful moment in WW's climactic scene.

Antiope though, there is a lot of 'meat' left on her bone. She was the impetus for Diana's journey and I think just as much Diana's hero as her own mother. Plus, her coming back to life doesn't rob anything from WW, but instead adds a dynamic that can be believably dramatic without being romantically hokey.

I completely agree with this. And also I felt a little betrayed when they killed Antiope, a great character in the comics with the potential not only of translating into a great character for the movies, but having the luck to be portrayed by a talented actress like Robin Wright, the possibilities would have been so exciting for her development. We know that Antiope's soy is complex and fundamental for the story moving forward and I count believe that, by killing her, they completely changed the Amazons history: Bana Mighdall and Artemis! Also I don't think they really calculated how beloved and impactful Wright's portrayal would have become, and now they want more of her, just like the audience. I know the movies can change a lot from the comics and they have the freedom to change things but also the pressure to make everything fit in the DC universe and changing fundamental things like Antiope's fate was wrong IMO. I can't believe there wasn't much outrage about Antiope's changed fate, as I would have expected from comic book fans.

What I could see now is that they bring back Antiope from the underworld, probably the events in Justice League would hint that (hence Wright's extensive reshoots) and she comes back in Wonder Woman 2 and turns in some sort of vengeful villain and leaves Themyscira (and this we know would fit with her original story) Wright is great at playing a vengeful villainess, those who watch House Of Cards will agree.
