Wonder Woman is about to get hot and heavy with Chris Pine. Sources tell Variety the “Star Trek” actor is in negotiations to join Gal Gadot in the upcoming superhero pic for Warner Bros.
Pine would play Gadot’s co-star Steve Trevor, the love interest of Wonder Woman in the origin story.

According to recent reports, filming begins "this fall." IDK if they've given a specific date beyond that.

They did something similar in an awesome novel by Steven Pressfield called Last of the Amazons. From memory, it was a matriarchal society where the women were the warriors, the weapons makers, the leaders, the ones in charge, but there was a basically a separate "village" where the men lived and they did many of the traditionally "female" roles and were subservient to the Amazons. They weren't slaves, they just weren't leaders in any way.

Solid casting getting Pine as Trevor to be in WW and maybe even in a JL film(s) as part of ARGUS.

Sounds like they will be on schedule. I still prefer the WW film to be pushed back to beginning of August. Don't like that June release date at all for her film. Move to the week after Pac Rim 2 in 2nd weekend of August.
