Confirmed by multiple sources that there was no Spider-Man footage in the teaser. So if anything else crops up that too is gonna be fake.

I could very well be wrong but my instincts tell me that Marvel is not going to show Spider-man at all in any of the trailers we get. We have to remember, from what we know, Spider-man has no significant role in this film and it is merely a cameo. Even though I'm very curious to see him too, I think it may be better to leave his cameo as a surprise for when the movie comes out. The movie's about Captain America and Spidey will merely be a cameo, the minute he shows up in a trailer, it may give people the wrong impression about his role in the film and it will inflate people's expectations on what to expect from him.

Just my two cents. I think he'd make a much bigger impact if they did not show him at all and then leave it as a surprise for when people actually watch the movie.

The movie is first and foremost about Captain America. Then Stark, Black Panther and Bucky. Everyone else is secondary, even Spider-Man. I'm extremely excited to see stills and posters of Cap, Iron Man, and Black Panther.

But that doesn't mean I can't be equally excited to see Spider-Man, as well.

I don't know if Marvel Studios is hindered at all from showing Spidey prior to the movie's release by Sony or if it's intentional in fear that he'll take away from the focus of Captain America and Iron Many from the movie. I tend to believe that Marvel and Sony's contract for this agreement still gives Sony the final say on creative decisions in regards to the character but Sony must have trust in what Feige and the Russo brothers to properly introduce Spidey into the MCU. I agree that it's great that they keep him as a surprise. I know that once the early screenings for this movie start out next Winter, I'll be avoiding spoilers like the freakin' plague because I want to be fall out of my seat with joy when he shows up in the movie. What I hope is we get a good introduce to the character and hopefully a mid credits or post credits scene to set up Spider-Man 2017 because I firmly believe he'll be a major character, possibly even one of the main characters, in the Infinity War two parter.

I don't think it's true. But as for your point about "why would they finally get the rights back but then change his origin?"

Because we've already seen his origin twice. Again, I doubt that story is true, but because the reporter who posted it has a ****** track record.

This is a theory I really don't mind at all. Peter's a genius kid, another science bro potentially, so I agree he really should [BLACKOUT]be the one who creates his web shooters, and not Stark.[/BLACKOUT] But being a mere middle class high schooler, he needs his resources.
