then I started watching and they kept saying how the character was died. I was confused since I didn't remember that happening in S1.

Just catching up on season 4, got 3 episodes left. This season isn’t hilariously deranged and has had me laughing more than any other. Yet in episode 5 it also had me crying. Surprised this season got some bad press I have really enjoyed it.
