No one should copy ASBAR for anything. Sociopathic Batman, oversexualized VV, and the creepy pedophile undertones, NO!! Vickie could work if she is also depicted as a capable reporter and doesn't scream every five seconds like Kim Basinger did.

I definitely wouldn't mind another female character. And yes obviously I'd like the portrayal of Viki Vale, if she were to be in the film, to be a little better than the Tim Burton version.

i need Amy to look hot in the next film. with a better body and better makeup, i don't know why she looked like the way she did in MOS. they also need to change the color palette of the movie, like they did with TDK as oppose to BB. Plus, give me some sex appeal from Amy before she turns 50 in MOS3...

Amy was not attractive in MOS, scenes that stick out that show this are the graveyard scene and the kiss scene. If Amy looked like she did in those previous pix I would be more open to her look. If they want red hair make it a dark red not orange. Despite the looks Amy was still miscast IMO.

I wonder how they would characterize someone like Vicki where she's better written than the way she was in Burton's film but doesn't come off as a carbon copy of Lois Lane.

She was a reporter traveling the world, including the Arctic, who then got caught up in a near apocalypse, she SHOULDN'T look like a model. It doesn't fit her character given the situations that she finds herself in. Also, Amy was really hot in MOS, simple as that.

Amy was hot in MoS. Period.

Her outfits were perfect for a modern Lois Lane. Why should she wear those sexy dresses and cleavage at the Daily Planet?!

seriously?!

I think Audrey said it best awhile back regarding on how they presented Lois's "look" in the film. It was something about how it was more refreshing to see a female lead within these films not be pampered up with make-up in a way that emphasized more on their sexuality on the outside than their inner beauty in the inside...and how it was more realistic to see Lois not placed with obvious make up touches during the chaotic situations that she found herself in throughout the film.

If anything, that's how I would see Cat Grant dressing like.

That is a big issue. I hesitate to even want her there because of that.

I'm not saying this just to be PC or anything I literally did think that Adams looked pretty in MOS, I think it's hard to make Amy Adams look anything but pretty because I think she's just a naturally pretty woman. That's just me though.

Yes, I agree that Cat would place more emphasis on her looks.

Give Vickie different motivations and methods. Heck, give her and Lois a scene together to highlight their differences.

If anything, IF Vicki was in the film, they could mirror her like Batman in terms of how Vicki approaches doing stories. I mean Lois is like Superman when it comes to her morals and her code of ethics so to speak, but Vicki could be more like how Batman is when it comes to getting the story, no matter the cost or no matter who ends up paying for it.

But the inclusion of Vicki really depends on whether this film is a true team up film or a sequel with batman in it since Vicki probably wouldn't be in it if this is a Superman sequel with just Batman in it.

That's actually a good idea that could work. I do agree that it depends on how much this is a team up film though.

What if Lois goes on a date with Bruce, but it is really part of a plot she and Clark have worked out to try to figure out what Bruce is really up to, so Clark does not mind it, because he is in on the plot to begin with.

If we can move beyond Clark pulling the wool over Lois's eyes with a double identity, we can move beyond Batman elbowing into Superman's romantic territory.

As long as they dont make Batman out and out make Superman look like a tool in his own movie than I'm fine with it, and the way you said it would work well, thats not what they did in the World's Finest animated.....lets call it a movie lol (2 episodes of the animated show)....and we have Bruce Timm for that crap and his Bat fetish.

there are elements from it that are worth salvaging, for example, its a raw Batman who's already established and feared among criminals and police alike, Vicki Vale is ruthless in her pursuit to find out who the "Goddamn Bat-Man" is and it even lands her in the hospital.

Stuff like that can be salvaged for the movie cause they would actually work in this kind of time frame (coming right out of the Man Of Steel story). Introducing elements from The Dark Knight Returns just doesn't work at this point cause the story only works with them all fully established and have known each other for years.

I'd love to see Vicki Vale show up and have some kind of rivalry with Lois, Vicki trying to find out who Batman is after say a year or 2 of him just being a myth up to actual sightings and what not......and then out of the blue Lois Lane shows up and its reported on television that she knows everything there is to know about "Kal-El" lol

Vicki with her reporter integrity being hurt, goes to Lois and tries to find out how she figured out Superman's secrets in hope to use the same techniques to learn Batman's :D

Just because some think Amy looked good period doesn't make it a fact. She doesn't have to tool like a model but if we are stuck with Amy she needs to look better than she did in MOS. something more along the lines of Teri's Lois plus darken her hair.

And just because you don't think she looked good doesn't make it fact. Her looking like a model didn't fit the situation in MOS, period.

What I would give to see Amy's Lois interact with Anne's Selina. If only...

the over all think Amy looked fine, could it have been better? Sure, but for what went down in Man Of Steel her look reflected that, and that IS fact.

I'm sure that at some point they will write a scene where Amy will look more traditionally beautiful. Maybe she wears an nice dress to a public event (Lexcorp presentation perhaps) or on a date with Clark to a nice restaurant.

Yeah, that's another sucky thing about it being a new Batman. Two of my favorite actresses together in a Superman/Batman would have been beyond amazing.

I'm not the one giving my opinion as fact and coming off that the opposite of what I think has no standing. I don't run around saying Amy was too old and homely to play Lois Lane period.

like you expect us to be shocked you hated amy's casting since she was announced and slammed her looks throughout the production dont act like your unbiased

because we all know you just want some hot bombshell

Oh yeah, now I remember. Thanks for reminding me. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion of course, it doesn't hurt my feelings if someone doesn't like Adams as Lois but I do take opinions less seriously when the criticism is so looks and age based.
