The only Pokemon fan I know around here is jokesonm3. And wow, you got much better mystery tees than me. I got a Cap/Iron Man yin-yang one that's kinda ugly but I'll still wear because at least I'm a fan of those characters, and I also got a Deadpool one. I kinda loathe Deadpool, so that will be my new "bum around the house"/laundry day shirt, lol.

LOL, neither of my parents have seen it, and I'll probably keep it that way. I hate the character in general, but enjoyed the movie well enough. I mean, I didn't love it, but it was fine, and a very good adaptation of the character. They would hate it, I'm sure. Mom LOVED Kick-Ass, but only because of Hit-Girl - she didn't get or care about the meta-commentary at all and she definitely doesn't appreciate meta-humor in general. Dad would just think it was stupid.

Well, my dad's a retired Army colonel who just doesn't have a high tolerance for silliness in general. Every now and then he'll find a comedy that makes him crack up (I think Spy was the last one that did it), but it's a rare and special occurrence, lol. I stopped trying to bond with him over comedies when he told me Arrested Development (my favorite show ever) was "stupid." That was just a step too far.

We bond over (regular) superheroes and sci-fi instead.

My dad liked it too, but he said he would have liked it better if it had taken itself more seriously and wasn't so silly. I think it was the running commentary and fourth wall breaks that he didn't care for. He liked the action scenes the most.

I thought it was pretty good too. At times Wade was too obnoxious but it had some real LOL moments.
