Ok, we've all heard people go back and forth about the MJ Gwen thing as far as killing MJ or killing Gwen. MJ seems to have taken the place of Gwen in the movie. And Gwen seems to be the MJ of the comics of the movie. Some people want to see Gwen and Peter get together as Stan orignally wanted it to be in the comics. Some want MJ and Peter to get together in the movie so as to stay true to the comics. What do you want?


Personally I want to see MJ die, and Gwen comfort Peter like MJ did in the comics when Gwen died. Why? Because the audience has come to route for MJ and Peter. They want to see them together and it will hit the audience on a much more emotional scale if a character they like dies. If they introduce Gwen and then kill her in the same film, most people won't care. Not to mention Kirsten said she's not coming back for a fourth film. That IMO will be staying true to the comic books story. It's what made it such a tragedy. Everyone knows that Gwen was Peter's first love but he got through it, by the love of another. It would be so perfect if MJ dies(his first love in the movie) and Gwen helps him through it.

It would have been excellent for one of Spidey's major love intrests to die in this movie but I think the foundation was built flawed for that aspect way back in the first film. Nothing but my personal opinion but I think neither should die.

Hi there every one! First time ive posted on here since 2004 so please go easy one me!

I really think some one close to peter has to die be it in 3 or 4 and to sound too harsh but i reckon it needs to be a love interest. Agreed the crying over Uncle Ben was questionable but i do trust in Tobey as an actor and he knows the character really well by now. Basically what im saying is I want to see as much emotion as possible!
