Ant-Man and The Wasp Ant-Man and the Wasp News and Speculation Thread - Part 2

Very high praise for Evangeline in the reviews! And a lot are mentioning it's superior to the first movie
Great to hear, loved the first one! All that was missing was Wasp suited up.
The set up was all there though for part two, love this duo!

Looking forward to it.

Seeing Ghost's powers in action reminds me a lot of the Matrix Reloaded twin pale villains, which I found was the cooler parts of that movie as far as action choreography and inventiveness. Looking forward to see how creative they get with her.

Her powers are cool, but her character is weak.

With it intentionally being primarily a comedy, I'm not too concerned with the villain not being the focal point of development. I know it possible to do both which IW just demonstrated with sprinklings of humor moments here and there and Thanos taken seriously. With this, I expect it to be much lighter toned and family friendly, which suits it fine and to be expected imo.

Is that Giant-Man or Goliath falling back in the water? It's a shame they haven't shown what Goliath will look like but I guess he will only be in the movie for a few minutes, so they don't want to ruin it, but if the movie kid a big hit them they may use Goliath in his full glory for a new tv spot.

Just got tickets for this Thursday night! Can't wait! I know one spoiler from the movie, but other than that, I haven't seen any footage besides the first 2 trailers.

Glad to see so much praise for Hope!

God those Hot Toys are eerie.

Without spoiling anything, do we know if it's back to the standard two post-credits scenes in the movie?

So is it pretty much a PG13 Deadpool without the meta?

Marvel is on a hat-trick this year with 3 great movies.

Just got out from the cinema. This movie is Ant-man x10

How is Wasp in the film? Does she have a lot of screen time? What about action scenes? Who has more of those and more creative ones - Ant-Man or Wasp?

Thank you.

Just watched this in Aus.

It was really great. I loved that this was a smaller more intimate film. I like that Ant Man has been like this thus far. Wasp was everything I wanted. And I want more. It’s so good to see a female really getting a spot to shine that’s not Black Widow.

Everything flowed great. And the humor was just right it wasn’t too much.

Was it as heartwarming as the first one? I really liked the emphasis on Cassie/Scott and Hope/Hank and dads doing things for their daughters in the first one

I'm a bit worried because what I loved the most about the first one (the heist with all the ants) seems to be completely lost in the sequel.

From what I gather there is still lots of ants here doing cool stuff :)

How's Michelle Pfiffer? Can you guys say anything about her without spoiling the movie?

Come on, guys.

How were Wasp's action scenes? Better than Ant-Man's?

How was the action overall? Any creative scenes (lots can be done with that shrinking concept)?
