Aqua - Discussion Thread(Spoilers)

awesome trailer, but im a little disappointed at Lex's line delivery. I'm sure it will look / sound great when we see it on thursday.

Hmm. Well now THIS is interesting. Considering LatinoReview's track record (they broke the story about Rufus' casting), I'm inclined to give them a little more latitude than I would AICN or DH...

In the hit TV show ENTOURAGE this year the show revolved around them filming a movie version of Aquaman, which was being directed by James Cameron. Now 'Washington Post' alerted us that DC Comics is doing a film version of the King of Atlantis. Below is the scoop, of course this is all rumors.

Can't say where this came from, but I think you'll find it interesting.

DC is doing a film version of "Aquaman" - and they may have already found him, without casting.

Alan Ritchson played the character on a recent episode of "Smallville", and according to someone involved in that film's development - they're seriously considering "using him".

Doesnt AOL usually post a mini trailer for the upcoming episode of Smallville. We didnt get one this week?

I had wondered if they would do that for every episode...

I guess not. :(

you are right part. and i hope he does get the role.

You know after watching that clip its interesting to note that the next episode is called Thirst.

Is it just me, or does any else notice that sometimes the title of the following episode seems to be pre-referenced in the episode prior?

What a great clip! Lex is so deliciously evil...

"One, you called me a tool.." LOL!

The Entourage shout-out was pretty funny too.

Aquaman is kinda in the tv show Entourage. Or he has something to do with it.

Entourage means????

It's the name of a popular current HBO show about a young male "star" and his entourage. I don't watch it, but I do know that a recent (current?) storyline is all about this actor starring in an Aquaman movie.

Oh! See, I never would have gotten that reference. I've never heard of the show and don't even have HBO. :(

I'm at work, so I could barely hear it, what was the Entourage shout-out? (love that show)

Slight possibility he might also be talking about that 'other' entourage he'll be travelling with in the future.

Lex: "What group are you with.. Guardians of the Sea?"

Aquadude: "I don't travel with an entourage."

I didn't even think of that, you're probably right that might be.

Then, the writers then get bonus points for fitting in both a cultural reference and a DCU reference all in one short sentence!

:D

i thought the entourage shout out was cool ..... as well as"you called me a tool"
