Happy Independence Day, Guest!

Green Arrow is the Neal Adams and Dennis O'Neil run, that was when he was really interesting and original, when he was an outspoken advocate of the underprivileged in society and the political left wing.
He was never a "Batman wannabe", he was his own man, his own character.
The Mike Grell run was also very good, much more gritty and violent, they could very well kept that......but not make almost a copy/paste of Batman like they did in the show.

Even Green Arrow has that Batman's graveling voice and a "batcave"
It's a god damn mess....
By giving him a Bruce Wayne-like personality and voice, the series actually works.
Green Arrow stopped being a second rate Batman since the 70s. He is his own character and thanks to Denny O'Neal he got a political agenda that accompanied him in most of his best stories. The show needs to change a colour pallete if not at the end of this season definitely sometime during the next one. Bright things up and get away from Batman.
I wonder (not talking anyone in particular just in general) how many people are going to compare the Flash tv show to either the original or to MOS?
In my opinion I don't see the big deal that this show took inspiration from Nolan's Bat films. Like I said earlier the producers said they liked what he did on film and wanted to take part of that and bring it to tv.
Like I mentioned the Flash show will be the "super powered realistic approach" so are people going to complain and say that show took to much from MOS?
Sorry had a pretty lousy day just a little rant.
GA in this show makes a better Batman than any Batman we've seen on screen. :P
