Finally a season finale where Star City is not under siege. The city gets a break from having to repair itself.

Glad Manu is back for a bit, he makes a great Slade. Wonder if they will kill him off or have him disappear? With Deathstroke making a future movie appearance and all.

I think Slade will just disappear. Killing him would be pointless at this stage.

Was Deathstroke actually confirmed for a movie appearance? I thought the rumor that he was the villain in The Batman got debunked, or at least rendered obsolete by the director change?

I don't really follow the DC movies rumor mill. They maybe going another direction with the villain. I expect Slade to appear in the future though, but in the mean time I am glad he is back for a closure appearance.

There seemed to be already footage of him shot. So I was assuming it was for Justice League. Since I don't believe they started filming for Batman yet.

Unless it was strictly a screen test...

Slade's been confirmed for both Justice League & the Batman.

Now, if he's the main villain or not in "The Batman" has yet to be really confirmed.

Im thinking though WB in general has been much more flexible recently with both parties being able to use the characters

Especially considering Katana is still out there, too. With that, Superman, and Boomerang, it looks like there is indeed more flexibility between the films and shows.

Considering they made them get rid of all the SS members in S4 I wouldn't say they are that flexible.

Wow, even the title card looked just like the one from Season 2. They're really going the whole nine yards to evoke the feelings of the first two seasons.

That was surprising! :o

It's official, Lian Yu blows monkey balls lol! Remind me never to go there on vacation.:oldrazz:

Good finale and cliffhanger! I'm actually really surprised that it didn't suck.

The only thing that irked me was the fake hair and beard at the end of the flashback. Wouldn't people notice that especially when he went back to the States?

I wonder if a few sacrificed themselves, while others get off the island! Going to make me think til October at least! We obviously know Siren, Rene and Dinah survive at least!

Something I'm perplexed by:

So all that drama over Artemis betraying Oliver and she just gets locked in a cage for her trouble. No scene of Oliver's alleged "Interrogation" afterwards or any other resolution for that bit. WTF?

The ending allowed for any actor to leave the show if they wanted except for Stephen of course

I'm sure they will show Merlyn alive first lol.

He's going to pester Ollie until the nursing home.

So to keep unsuspecting folks guessing, the Season 6 trailer basically can't show anyone in it BUT Oliver and William...

It wasn't a bad finale, just a very rushed one.

Everyone really got something to do which was great, it was all just "you get 1 min, you get 1 min, everybody gets a min"

Besides the pacing, I think the only thing that disappointed me was that Quentin wasn't put in danger for Siren to save him. I am fine with everything else that happened with her in the episode. Her and Dinahs fight was GREAT. Their scream was GREAT.

Slades triplecross could be seen from a mile away lol. I wasnt even surprised one bit.

Malcolm is supposed to be "dead" but I doubt it. What I imagine is that the grabbed Digger and put him on the bomb as he did with Thea. Told Digger not to move while he ran away. Digger hesitated but was like "imma call yo bluff" and then BAM! Merlyn lives. Maybe loses a leg this time.

But now we have to wait 5 months to most likely get a REALLY lack luster explanation as to how everyone got off the island. That's a lot of people to survive an exploding island.

It's funny, Chase was THE ONLY ONE to get a full fledged ending. The ONLY one. lol.

I'm guessing that the majority of the trailer will be scenes from season 5 with maybe the last shot being something new with Oliver. They will show it at SDCC and everyone will still go crazy.

Could someone explain to me why the Artemis thing got the shaft? That whole betrayal thing and it never gets explained or dealt with!

It's obvious, Malcolm is still alive and saves Thea and by association everyone else.

Because they are lazy and just wanted something extremely generic instead of adding value to it.
