I heard her character gets killed off early in the movie and that's where the Claire (Ali Larter) character comes in. But those are hjust some rumours i heard.

As much as I enjoyed RE, and even Apocalyps in a trashy fun kinda way, Im pretty sure if that happened, Wesker would be made to look ******ed and probably like a second rate alice (which , if anything, is the other way around). It would really tarnish his character to appear in the movie. Even Jill was different to the way she is portrayed in the games (she was *****y in the movie- it seems anderson mistakes strong women for *****y ones, even though the game Jill was strong but also warm and caring for others). In the movie she came off a bit too robotic imo.

I hope Carlos comes back though. Oded Feh (sp?) is awesome.

I don't think Paul Anderson even aknowledges any of the games' story beyond the first three playstation games. How is Claire supposed to be in Europe searching for Chris if she's leading a caravan on foot to Alaska (and why Alaska if there's nothing there except big chunks of ice and un-tapped oil deposits?), and how is Leon Kennedy supposed to become a member of the secret service if zombies have taken over the world?

Has anyone seen Anderson's commentary on RE Apocalypse? His fan credentials go out the window when he says 'Charles Ashford plays a different role in the games.' He sure does considering he's NOT EVEN IN THEM.

i thought i'd read that they're heading there because they figure zombies couldn't survive in that climate? they'd freeze because they're not smart enough to find warmth?

i thought that was actually a really good idea, and (even though the resident evil movies have kind of been bad) george romero himself, i think, would be proud of that idea.
