The Amazing Spider-Man ASM Blu-ray: Most Wanted Features and Extras - Part 1

I think Batman made that symbol around the BB/TDK days in case the power went out and the signal couldn't be activated. It's too dumb if he made it right there and then, mere hours before a bomb nukes the city.

I loved the symbol, and then only when the film ended I wondered how he had time to even make the symbol, lol, so it's sorta 50/50 feeling I have with it. Loved the moment where Batman told Gordon to "light it up" and when Foley saw the symbol, but then wondering how he made the symbol itself instead of getting things done faster. But, it did work out all in the end as they still had so many hours until the bomb went down to zero anyways, so 'meh'.
i liked the symbol too, didn´t think much about it,just there was Epic music to show that Batman was back

the crane scene is the same, Spiderman was not going to make it in time because he took a shot to the leg , so the cranes gave him the boost he needed, he uses buildings to walk on them for swinging so using the cranes was useful , of course all the "Get all the Cranes in a perfect position so spiderman can swing" is cheesy but still i like it

Seriously, who doesn´t get chills @1:47?, also i love the music

He needed to run out of web fluid. Why didn't they do it?

Oh it will happen. They're just saving it for a better time. Maybe he'll be taunting some criminals like he did with the car thief, wasting a lot of webbing, then he suddenly has to spring into action against the Green Goblin. Goblin drops Gwen off bridge. Spidey goes to web her. No webbing. Gwen plummets to death. :wow:

I can see people *****ing about how they didn't do it exactly like the comics. Although it would have the same result. Peter blamed himself for not saving her properly, in this case he can blame himself for not having enough webbing.

Sorry but Its actually comical if Spider-man attempts to shoot webbing, nothing comes out and Gwen screams falling.

I'm sure it can be made so it's not comical. But she's gonna be FUBAR. They can't dwell on that too long.

They're not going to have Gwen go splat because Peter ran out. She'll have her neck broken, you can take my word on that.

Well, if done wrong I guess it could be comical in a very sinister way. Goblin would probably find it sadistically hilarious. And Gwen shouldn't be screaming: she needs to be unconscious. Regardless, I think Webb will do the scene the justice it deserves. He's very good at emotional moments, and so is Garfield. And if they do nail it, this should be the most iconic scene in a Spider-Man movie for sure.

Yeah that's definitely the best way to do it IMO. Very heartbreaking. Plus they already foreshadowed that with Spidey throwing Gwen out the window at school. So I believe you're right. I was just spitballin :yay:

lol, really??

Batman: "Light it up."

Gordon: "Light what up, dammit?"

Batman: "The Bat symbol I carved 8 years ago."

I hated that bat symbol on the bridge. Very thematic, but it made no sense.

It's a lot of a lot better than this.

Batman: "Light it up."

*Gordon lights it up*

Gordon: "You piece of theatricality ****. I have the entire Gotham police force underground, and now I'm being force to walk across thin ice to my death. And you? You decide to make a stupid Bat insignia with fire to send a message to Bane. A better message would of been kicking his ass already."

Yah, lol...I don't know anyone else who would have thought Batman made the symbol eight or so years ago.

It makes SOME sense when realizing that Gordon and his men were sent to the ice river at night and it was still day when Bruce got Lucius to help him, so there was some time to have created the bat signal, so while it does make sense, it still makes you wonder why Batman made the symbol in the first place, that's all. Even then, that scene is one of my favorite scenes of the entire trilogy as that very scene gave hope to Commissioner Gordon once again and even turned Foley from a "bad cop" to a "good cop", something Batman has never done in the last two films.

o.

But Spiderman turned the "Bad cop" that tried to arrest him to a "Good cop" even he helped him un the Crane scene :o :oldrazz:

Don't get me started on Foley. I swear to God...

I started to really like Foley ever since I had some viewings of TDKR at my house. I definitely get what Nolan was trying to do with Foley, albeit a rushed attempt which again, is something you have to understand with the IMAX run time limit. But, nonetheless, I became a fan of the character going from a bad cop who wanted to one-up Gordon and take down Batman, to understanding that Batman is indeed the hero Gotham needs and deserves.

But Spiderman turned the "Bad cop" that tried to arrest him to a "Good cop" even he helped him un the Crane scene :o :oldrazz:

Good for Spidey? Although, that only happened once Stacy found out Spider-Man was Peter :oldrazz:

and Foley became "Good Cop" once Batman was back, but he tried to catch him but under "Terrorist hostage" he is good :whatever:
the same with TASM and the "Lizard biological attack"

The difference? Stacy felt sorry that he was going to arrest or kill his daughter's boyfriend.

Batman just gave hope back to Gotham without having to show Foley that he's Bruce Wayne.

Edited previous post: and Foley became "Good Cop" once Batman was back, but he tried to catch him but under "Terrorist hostage" he is good , previously he prefered to go for Batman instead of "Bank Robbers"
the same with TASM and the "Lizard biological attack", if there were not Attack he would´ve catch him

Hrm? Foley did want to go after Batman, but he thought Batman also killed Harvey Dent until he learned the truth when the rest of Gotham found out.

Stacy? He went after Spidey until he found out that Spider-Man was Peter and trying to stop Lizard.

Like I said, one didn't have to show who he really was for the cop to not go after him.
