I think it'd be cool, it's just against the viking's mind set of being a worrier. or what's known of them. I think it be cool. but... it be weird in away too. Not against it, but that something the ancient Greeks and Chinese and Japan and maybe Africans are more likely to do then the viking's.

Absolutely! That conflict could make for a pretty interesting character.

Exploring the Japanese warriors almost seems too obvious, but I'd definitely be up for some Samurai action.

Seeing that the Ninja's were originally born from samurai's though.... yeah but they made up their minds there no far east stuff that includes china and every where else too .

I could see Victorian London. I still think the seeds are still there for a French Revolution AC, but after 3 & 4, people might get burned out on the 18th century milieu. Maybe they should go farther *back* in history, and explore the ancient world, like Egypt or Greece or Mesopotamia, and reveal the roots of the Assassins and Templars. I also think the Russian Revolution would be a great setting.

If they're going to go for Victorian Britain, they should have sections throughout the Empire. Would easily be the most diverse game they'd make and they've sort of got some of the mechanics for a vast Royal Navy with the ship mechanics now.

Me too. I'm thinking that this and Watch Dogs will be my first games for PS4. Infamous Second Son will be next, whenever it's released.

If you are definetly getting an X1 or PS4, I see no point in getting this for the 360 unless you are really into multiplayer and have friends that will be sticking around for that

Achievements. If they end up being separate on you profile, X1 & 360 version, i'll end up getting both at sometime.

If that is the case I wonder how multiplayer achieves will work. Say for instance you have to reach max rank. Will you have to do it twice? Wouldn't make much sense. Would be cool if you could get all mp related stuff in one version and have it instantly unlock in the other upon starting it up.

Youd have to REALLY love Assassins Creed to buy this game twice to place through twice for achievements. These games are not only super long but tend to have the most tedious ones (collect every collectible, complete every side mission, get 100% sync on everything, etc...)

ACIII pretty much killed the series for me so I won't be getting ACIV. I had very low interest in it from the start and only got it for $20 brand new a few weeks back. Didn't even bother to use the pass code thingy. The only really fun parts were the ship battles and the "real" stuff with Desmond. Everything else was pretty bland. I had quite a lot of glitches and the free running kept messing up, especially at the end with Charles Lee. I had to re-do that more than a dozen times. Not to mention the story outside the animus just sorta puttered out at the end. I did enjoy the checkers games though. I got to have a ghost play them with me for awhile before I tidied up the last few extra missions.

Yea thats kinda my thinking at this point. I mean its gonna be dropping for the X1 and PS4 so i might as well just snag it as one of my launch titles.

thats cool. Im usually sick of most of these games by the time Im done with them and have never replayed any of them. That would be torture to me. I do keep wanting to go back to II but I no longer own it and other things have kept me busy.

I thought he just said no Japanese ninjas/samurai. Or WW2 or.... One other thing I can't remember at the moment, but it wasn't China. He said he didn't want to do places that have been done to death, I don't think China has really been done a whole lot, especially accurately. Then again, ninja and samurai aren't done accurately either.

Obviously there's no confirmation one way or the other, but I highly doubt the achievement list will be separate per version.

Maybe in a game, but Assassin's Creed: Embers already showed us a Chinese Assassin.
