I thought the gameplay from the Sony press conference was amazing, but I still have yet to play the previous games. I think I will be saving ACIV for PS4, I loved it when the ships started bombarding the island

Except for the part when the demo crashed. ;)

Even if this game is not as good as Watchdogs or The Division I'm more excited for it based on the settings and environment and feel of adventure. Will be awesome bringing Assassin's Creed to all that & I liked the look of walking around islands from what we saw.

Yeah that was concerning, hope its not a major problem with the PS4.

Its not, its just what happens when you demo a game live. Its not the full retail product on a system that prob still has some kinks left to be worked out. That will be a non issue come launch.

Yeah, that's why most of the time the demo is scripted and not really live, and why it is really hard to trust demos that show features moving in "real time" with no load screens.

That sounds cool, but I agree with the first comment in that article, which is that its kinda pointless if you haven't played Liberation.

I don't have a Vita (or a Playstation, for that matter....*yet*), but being able to play Aveline's story, even as DLC, is yet another selling point for PS4 for me. Wondering what era it will be set in, though, since Edward's story takes place circa 1710-1720, and Liberation was 1765-1777.

Also, did anyone catch that interview on Sessler's channel where the developer said that the Animus is still in AC4? Desmond's no longer there, but you get sort of a "first person" look at the Animus instead of looking through Desmond's point of view. The dev also said that Edward does something in the past that has a major impact on the Assassins and Templars in the present and future, and that there's a specific and sinister reason why his Animus is chosen for exploration.

Before I head out for to night that link I put up lead to a video and the dev said that Aveline is able to travel through Edwards time via the animus of his who ever is related to her in current time jumps into the animus of the current time the Boundaries don't matter any more from what it sound like all due to this . Any one can jump in to that thing.

Yea it's neat to have the option but I have less than no desire to play as Aveline.

yeah well it's only for those that bothered with the liberation game on the vita and enjoyed it . there no Compulsory reason to do so.

Assassins Creed 5: The Recipe
You play as Alphonse, a highly skilled and respected chief trying to find the perfect Alferedo recipe only to discover that the Templars want the Alferedo recipe as well. ONe thing they didn't count on is his master of the cooking knife and rolling pin. Along the way he stumbles onto the Assassin's guild and cooks them a meal...now with exciting cooking Kinect controls or with use of the Playstation Eye.

1. The pirate one

2. A story set in Victorian london please with Manchester and Yorkshire as secondary towns

3. A game set in a Flash Gordonesque future

I could see Victorian London. I still think the seeds are still there for a French Revolution AC, but after 3 & 4, people might get burned out on the 18th century milieu. Maybe they should go farther *back* in history, and explore the ancient world, like Egypt or Greece or Mesopotamia, and reveal the roots of the Assassins and Templars. I also think the Russian Revolution would be a great setting.

I can't wait to fight dinosaurs. :p

Seriously though it would be sweet

A viking themed one would be pretty amazing, especially now that they have the sea stuff down.

An assassin viking ? unheard of . Interesting since they are straight forward about how they like to fight and that's to charge in at their opponents head on. it would be interesting to see though.

Sure, it's total fantasy, but that's never stopped them before. No reason they couldn't do a mix of standard head-on viking warfare, and stealthy assassin business. It wouldn't be all that different from AC 4, in that respect.

I think it'd be cool, it's just against the viking's mind set of being a worrier. or what's known of them. I think it be cool. but... it be weird in away too. Not against it, but that something the ancient Greeks and Chinese and Japan and maybe Africans are more likely to do then the viking's.
