Avatar is massive in France right now.
So the overseas Tuesday number was $28.3m!! This thing has a long way to go before it peters out. Also over a billion overseas now and no. 9 overall all time.
Man even I as a huge Cameron fan didn't think this would be doing that well.

Every-time we went to animal kingdom and visited the pandora section the lines for both rides were always hovering around 2-3 hours and the store as well as the cafe were packed. Clearly when I saw that I thought well maybe there is still an underlying hunger for this world and so far that is clear now.
That really is insane how much money Disney has made between this franchise, Star Wars, Marvel etc.

shouldn't Avengers be rolled into marvel cinematic universe?
It's an interesting list. But I wondered the same thing. Are the Avengers stats separate from the rest of the MCU? Or is double counting going on? Likewise for Batman (17 movies?) and the DCEU.shouldn't Avengers be rolled into marvel cinematic universe?

$38.5 billion from just the MCU and Star Wars alone, dude. That's enough to buy a country. Although the Star Wars movies made about $4 billion before Disney acquired them, same with the MCU movies that came out before Thor 2 which I think was when Disney fully took over distribution but still, that's an insane amount of cheddar. That really is insane how much money Disney has made between this franchise, Star Wars, Marvel etc.

It is, but it also listed separately. Likewise the Spider-Man movies with Tom Holland are counted into both MCU and Spider-Man.
List of highest-grossing films - Wikipedia
It's going to be right up there after this bunch of films up to the 5th one comes out. Only the MCU is definitively out of reach and still making a ton every year for the foreseeable future.
It's really strange what Wikipedia did here. They list 12 Spider-Man movies when there are really only 9. They include Civil War, Infinity War and Endgame just because Spidey is in them even though they're not "Spider-Man" movies. Same deal with Batman being in Justice League and Suicide Squad I'm assuming since they're showing 17 movies for him. By that logic shouldn't Iron Man, Cap and Thor be on there too?
