Avengers Alliance - Part 1

Better than where I'm at. I'm floating between high silver and low gold. Running into way too many gold-item buyers to really move up much further. Now that they nerfed Rescue, I may have to find a new team member (torn between Phoenix and Emma Frost although a team of Juggy and Hulk is sounding appealing due to the changes to Hulk.)

Speaking of gold item buyers, myself, I picked up the Soulfire Blade last week during the sale...I wished I picked up the other Phoenix items...I already have the Cosmic Flame (my favorite item ever!) I picked up a while back during either lockboxes or a roulette or something...I'm tempted to drop gold for the Sorcerous Sceptre that's on sale now but---I'll probably pass, I'll have to buy gold to get it.

I also caved and picked up Magik and Emma last week also. I'll work on them plus Constrictor and Wonder Man but I'm trying to level up my lvl 9, 10, 11's to 12.

I don't even care for PVP right now, I'll just be happy to finish the Shepherd's Staff. I got Caducites fairly quickly, I need one more Seraphim feather, and sitting at 85 gold nuggets...I'm sure I can finish before PVP ends. Anything else, silver, gold, or diamond league will be bonus---for me at least.

My team right now's an okay team: blaster MK 42 Iron Man armor, and tactician Heroic Age Hawkeye...my agents in the Infiltrator Aegis Armor from one of the PVP a few months back. And I'm using the Cosmic Flame, Sinister Sceptre (pairing it with Cosmic Flame is pretty good), Soulfire Blade, and the Maggia "Triggerman"---(didn't realize you could gain items in the facebook version from the mobile.)

Rescue is the bane of my existence in PVP, everyone I run into is using her.

And she is just so annoying to face. My battles against teams using her take way too long to finish.
Whenever she appears, I know it's going to be a long and boring battle.

Well, the changes PD did today really hosed me in PVP. They basically made Phoenix a top flight hero and Rescue a middling one. Lost my first 4 fights trying out new combos and dropped to nearly below 800 after being near 900. Finished at around 830 after settling on using Bruiser agent, Juggy, and Emma Frost. Losing nearly every other fight but it's better than losing every fight now.

The new changes to Thor and Hulk have made them into top tier heroes, and both will have gotten scarier, which I like because I felt that they should be stronger in the PVP landscape. And I know that some people dislike Rescue, but I do (have no problem beating her in PVP), and I think they nerf her way too much.

same on Rescue for me but she was the first one I chose to concentrate my attack on. I've only ran into her once though. I'm dancing on silver and gold in pvp.

I havent been playing much to be honest. I hate PVP. I'd rather focus on a new SO, or maybe even season 2, so i'm looking forward to that. Anything but PVP lol

People are getting real angry for PD not communicating a single bit on what's coming or what they're doing to improve the game. I can see their points. PD has to have some of the worst PR/social media people since they just absolutely refuse to say anything or have any contact with the players. It would really behoove them to get someone interacting with the players.

I really hope they add some new stages. I'm tired of the city landscapes.

Looks like another week without new content or any new info on Season 2. It was supposed to be released on 6/18 and now it's almost been a month.

The next SO is likely going to be released today, according to a PD forum admin that let it slip last night and some players that decoded some of the MAA game file. Next SO hero will be Damion Hellstrom and the new lockbox will be Satana.

Good, I'm preparing for this. I've been farming CP and gold.
I bet one of the heroes we'll have to get for the Epic Boss is Red Hulk.

I guess that admin has backtracked a bit and said they'd "try" to release it today. That sounds like it'll be really iffy.

As for the epic boss, most have it pegged as Fantomex being the next PVP hero needed since he was the next PVP character to become available after X-23. Red Hulk probably won't be needed until SO 13 with Shatterstar likely for SO 12.

I can dig it, I'm a little more excited for Satana, than Hellstrom...and as much as I love my X-Men characters, its good to see them using other characters.

Usually PD releases a 90 CP just before a SO launches but they have done a couple without one so it'll be interesting to see what they do. With Hellstrom being the likely SO hero, the only heroes left that have been announced but not released yet are Doctor Voodoo and Moon Knight. Could be one of those 2 or another character from out of the blue.

I'm surprised that these two will be in the next Spec Ops; seems to be they'd make more sense to be released in October like GR did last year.

I think they want to get them out before the year anniversary of their announcement at NYCC 2012 hits. I'm actually surprised they haven't released the alts for Cyclops, Daredevil, and Iron Fist that were shown at SDCC last year.

Hopefully that means we'll eventually get him as a lockbox hero, but that's probably way down the line. Also, we got Taskmaster as well.

Looks like the typical SO gifting error is back again so we're going to have to wait to be able to accept/send UIso gifts.

The good thing is he doesn't change classes like Red Skull did and you only need to take 5% off his health to technically beat him. I forced him to escape by using a generalist trench, Custom Possessed Pistol, Coulson's Revenge, Golden Tyrant Blade, and Mahayuga. I then used Mockingbird and Omega Sentinel for my other heroes since they can change classes and take on the demons he summons.

I was going to say the same. He is really powerfull. They even had the nerve to give him the ability to apply off-balance to my Infiltrators so I can't counter attack.

I took him down, but one of his summons finished the job and I lost the battle.

For the first time ever i only have to buy one! . And i got 20 CP's in the roulette today, so i'm sitting at a total of 79... almost there! t:

I think i'll wait until tomorrow to start the SO.
