Well since I'm terrible at PvP I just went the gold route for lockboxes and bought them. Only had to by 90 as I only got one duplicate. Elektra turned out to be the easiest lockbox hero for me. And I got Angel to with all the command points I've been farming. So rather good day.

Guess you took the less painful (for you) way out. I'm going to go through PVP since I like the possibility of getting stuff in roulette and there are going to be sidetasks to get lockboxes. Plus, I'd imagine PD will send some lockboxes through their email gifts as well.

Well I've had a stockpile of gold slowly growing over the past few months without having to resort to using actual money. So it was certainly less painful than playing pvp.

Fought a match with a hero who had everyone 17,000 health while all my people were only 8,000. Out of the past 50 matches I've fought I've won 3, that's 3 wins in the past 3 months.

Doing matches as soon as PVP starts tends a bad idea since the ELO scores are the same for everyone and you'll likely get paired with someone totally outclassing you in both hero and item bonuses. I tend to always wait 4-5 hours after the start so there's a more likely chance I'm getting favorable matches. About the only areas I'm outclassed are in item bonus and my weapon armory so I'm not fretting about getting my daily 5 wins.

You now have two teams in PVP: offense and defense. Unlike before, you no longer have to use the same team for both, so the other teams won't take advantage of AI's stupidity in running your team.

Plus the teams are separate from your PVE (chapter mission) setup as well. No need to change from your PVP setup or PVE setup anymore.

how the heck you beat Thor using Hercules? I need to score over 30K to complete the next guest but so far the highest I got was over 25K, seems when I hit stamina on my hero I always get nuked

**never mind, got it this time. Still having a time dealing with those invasion heroes I have to battle

It took me 4 total times to complete that task. I beat him the first time but had to do another 3 to finally beat him again. That one and the Cable/Deadpool ones are the most difficult heroic battles.

I got him the second time, but it was still tricky. Havent done the Cable/Deadpool one yet, hopefully i can get stupid Deadpool to at least level 9 before then lol.

I'm doing so much better in this PVP tournament. Spending some of my saved gold on the some new PVP items is really helping out. Only bad thing so far is I just got a duplicate from a 10x lockbox opening when I only had 2 covers to start.

You don't really need DP to be level 9 to complete this HB imo, since the most important thing is Cable. I had Cable at level 12 and gave him the best ISO silver can buy so he can survive X-Ray's 4 stacks of radiation, and once he could the battle wasn't too hard. Took me two failures because I made the adjustment, but now it's almost a breeze.

All you need to do is to recharge in the first two round, then you can take out Thor with one hit.

I can't even play PVP right now. I get a CVE every time I try.
