Who is the hero you need who reveals the epic boss (Sugarman) in mission 1 of the SO? Or what do I need to do to reveal him?

Also what have people used to beat Apocalypse?

Your best bet is to use gold to skip that task. If you don't have the heroes then that's actually cheaper on resources.

Well beat the Emma/Magneto heroic in two tries, got Magneto's empowered iso. The hulk one took about 12 tries but I got it. And beat Sif's on my first try and got her empowered iso too.

Sif's heroic battle is really pissing me off. I've done it 8 times and still can't make much of a dent in Enchantress. Another poorly designed HB by Playdom.

Edit: Finally beat it after another 4-5 tries. Have to hope you go first so you can do a double scrapper attack. Did her L6 skill and then you spam her L2 like crazy. Used a couple Barbarian rages in there as well.

yeah, trying to beat Enchantress at this time. So far no luck yet

I just realized i have yet to win the friggin' heroic battle in chapter 3, mission 5 (Ultrons vs Black Panther, Black Window and Wasp), cause i was getting nowhere and gave up on it months ago . Any suggestions how to get through it? I dont want to move on to chapter 4 until i do, i hate having lose ends lol

Use Wasp 3 ability and make sure your heroes are level 12 or higher, usually my Wasp is the last one standing

I'd also suggest using Wasp's L2 ability every now and then (especially against the single Ultron to begin the match) since it takes away any buffs Ultron gets from previous ranged/melee attacks.

Have to wait for Domino to finish training at midnight so I can get all the deploys in 4.5 done. Doing my 2nd pass on that mission to get Task 28 (Score 25K against Savin) on challenge mode. Once I finish that, I should have pretty easily sailing on finishing the rest of the tasks since I've saved 2750 small energy packs, 40 large energy packs, and 48 full energy packs.

Did it, thanks! Did use some gold to kill off the last Ultron lol, but i finally did it, yay! t: onto chapter 4.

Apocalypse isn't that big of a deal. It's the Horsemen.

Well I only have 1 horseman to beat now before Apocalypse, and that is Famine. I think War was the easiest one in the 4th mission so far. Have to wait for some unstable isos to play now.

So has anyone beaten Mockingbird's heroic yet? From what I can gather the only way to win is have her level 13 and give her two empowered isos.

Yeah that one was a pain. Have to take out the blaster first with extra turns. Then let the scrapper keep hitting you to get engraged. Then do the flying attack on Crimson Cowl, then the paragon exploiter attack to finish her off.

I put the rest empowered iso on Cap. after I got rid of cowl I just rested 4 turns in a row to get health back and recover from the bleeding. Then took out the scrapper.

I wish these battles would go back to being how the used to be when they were fun. It just took figuring out a pastern and using your head. Now it's all just brute force trial and error.


Did finally beat the Mockingbird one. Word of advice... don't kill the brusier for any reason. Keep him alive, wait for his protection buff to go away, then hit Zemo with critical intel and the pressure point move. If your lucky he'll get all five debuffs. Then try and survive till your next turn and hit him with the final attack and hopefully it'll instantly kill him. Then hope you have enough health left to survive the bleeding you have and kill the bruiser.
I had to get the moral boost generalist empowered iso for Mockingbird to do it though.

I only just found out in a battle earlier this week that the Living Pharoah is the same as the Living Monolith, when he suddenly transformed into him. I always thought they were two separate characters.

I have a long way to go before playing Chapter 4 in Season 2.

15 tries... 15 damn tries it took.

It would be easier with the Cleansing ISO but I refuse to spend gold to complete a heroic battle.

This is one that needs a nerf next patch.

How much gold do you have in total?

I tried a heroic battle with Spider-Woman and Modok before. That didn't last very long. She was only on about level 5 or 6 at the time anyway. Not that I expect it to last long now that she's on level 9.

It's bad. I probably won't even attempt to farm some of them until after the inevitable nerfs.
