Here's a MTV article about new characters and alts coming to MAA, mainly those associated with TWS and GOTG:

Have to say some of those are pretty sweet. I counted about 8 possible new playable characters, 2 alts, in addition to Hogun and Fandral who've already been announced. That's 10 new characters that should be available in the next several months. Can't say it won't be boring in the game.

I assume she'll have a buff that causes 'distraction' on all enemies from the start of combat.

I'm amazed that I managed to survive 2 and a half waves against Nitro and the Mindless Ones and actually win with just an Agent. My other two characters got killed early in the first wave.

From tweeting going on right now on the MAA Insider Twitter account:
-Rocket will be the PVP Season 15 hero and another will likely be a future PVP hero
-The Chapter 5 mastery alt will be the Transian SW alt that was posted
-Taskmaster will be a PVP lockbox hero; no lockbox for SO17 (CA: TWS-themed one)
-SO18 will have a group boss who is a secret right now
-Winter Soldier is not playbable (but I think he will eventually)
-Falcon is the SO17 unlockable hero and CA will have an alt
-The 3rd anniversary gift was hinted at and he said it may not be a weapon (hero perhaps?)

Falcon just looks like a standard SHIELD agent wearing a particular uniform you can buy.

And that better not be the extent of their Batroc they're going to release. I hope we get a comic accurate one.

-The anniversary gift will be a generalist uniform with E-Iso slot and it'll come after Chapter 4 is released.
-Rogue and Magik's alts are coming but still a ways off.
-Fandral will be the next new hero released.
-Carnage has been hinted at possibly being a future group boss in a Spider-Man themed SO that Woods has wanted to do for awhile now.
-Dark Avengers will show up again in Season 2.

When is the next Spec Op? I have only just about a week to complete this one. Of course, I would've completed it a week ago had I finished all the tasks at the right time. Didn't know I had to do that though.

The time between Spec Ops varies. It's been as short as 3 days and as long as a month.

They said this one would be in March though. So probably not a very long wait.

I'd say probably the last week of March to coincide with the release of TWS.

Some over on the Playdom forums are thinking that maybe Falcon has a ground mode and a flight mode or a combination of ground and aerial attacks.

I'm definitely going to try to recruit Drax and Gamora. Know it's not going to happen, but I'd love to have Angela in the game.
