Seems a bit odd that they go for a massive 1000 gold reward, instead of something like 100 or 200 gold. They must really want to see who the fans want in the game.

So it is Jessica Jones after all! They must've been planning it for a while and misleading us too that she wasn't ruled out. But they didn't manage to get something done in time for Daredevil Season 1. Maybe for season 2?

But it would really have to start this week then. Like in the next couple of days or so to coincide with the series.

I think the issue with doing any tie in with the Netflix shows is the limited number of new characters in the shows.
I guess you could have done Night Nurse for season 1, but there aren't a ton of people to add.

For Season 2 though, they could easily have Gladiator as a lockbox character. Not sure who they would have for the SO hero though, as it wouldn't be able to be Punisher or Elektra, although I do wish Elektra became evergreen instead of just a lockbox.

I don't know who would win that gold though. There must be hundreds or thousands of participants, so the likelihood of being picked is quite slim. Maybe if there were several winners it would be different.

I would definitely save it up for the 5th slot and mainly the lockbox characters.

Also, if Jessica Jones is the SO hero this time round, that means we should expect to see Purple Man show up, and Luke Cage should also be a major player. But what about Hellcat? We ought to get her too, unless they use Ms Marvel instead. But give us Hellcat to tie in with the show, and because we want her in MAA as well.

I thought of voting for Nighthawk as well, but went for Namor in the end. Silver Surfer and Hellcat would've been close behind too.

Nighthawk would serve both Defenders fans and Squadron fans. They could have alts, although I don't know which would come first.

Apparently not. Rachel McAdams will be Night Nurse and the female lead/love interest for the Dr. Strange movies.

From what I've seen it's all but confirmed. There was a big deal about the Daredevil people having to say Claire isn't Night Nurse because the Dr. Strange people were using her instead. And almost every rumor has McAdams being Night Nurse.

McAdams COULD still be Clea, but it'd be a very big surprise at this point given every rumor has pointed in opposite direction.

Well there are also rumors that Marvel Movies and Marvel TV are not getting along well so these decisions are more to spite the other as part of the family feuding.

So is the SO likely to drop before or after the Jessica Jones series on Friday? Isn't it quite late on that night? If they drop it at the same time, then people will be busy binge watching that show instead of playing MAA. I won't be binge watching myself as I don't have that kind of time, so I could play the SO on the weekend.

But normally don't SOs drop before a movie? At least a few days before.

I wonder which characters are safe to train. Everyone for me would be level 11 and above apart from Kang.

I'm guessing that Luke Cage and DD should probably not go into training at this time. Maybe some other street characters too?

Also, did Jessica Jones look like that picture in the comics? Did she have dark hair? That seems to make her a bit more like Krysten Ritter, although not as black as her hair.

I never read her comic book, but Google image search showed her with light brown hair in some images and also with pinkish purple hair.

Edit: I guess the purple hair is a different persona for her. So maybe some alt costumes are in her future.
