Mission 1 is utter agony! I can't even get close to taking Masque down as EVERYONE HAS 3 STACKS OF RADIATION AND MENTAL ANGUISH!

Well at least I got X-23's e-iso for all that effort. Got Deathlok's a-iso too.

Who are you using? I didn't find Masque herself that difficult.

Ugh, I know. I haven't even gotten past Deathlocket yet, and I still don't like the prospect that I will have to play through that mission again later.


I may just do that. But right now I'm going to horde Iso-8 while I devise my battle plan.

You can't get past Death Locket without a tactician. That's why you need Kate Bishop. Cammi is no good there. And you have no hope in the final wave without Victor Mancha.

Spider-Gwen's 4th ability seems to take out the scrapper iso saurs very quickly, often with one shot. I'd say she should be used against them where possible.

Also, you can't actually 3-bird the boss battle in Mission 1. I only had X-23 and Deathlocket left on the map, and it still wouldn't reveal the location of Madame Masque. You have to beat X-23 first, and then can only 2-bird Masque. That means you can never score maximum points.

this is probably my worst record ever. Omega Sentinel, maybe Blizzard, might have needed as much lockboxes, but I'm not sure...

Well at least I'm onto the 2nd research now.

Mission 1 was much easier the 2nd time round now that I know how to play it better. But Masque's battle was still a pain. Well, mostly in the 3rd wave, because the scrapper dinosaur kept taking numerous bites. I was left with only Victor Mancha in the end but he managed to beat them.

I made a mistake of not using Kate Bishops 3rd ability to apply a fatal blow to the scrapper, so he stayed alive after only minimal health and lived to dine another day.

I got Electro!

After filling up the bonus bar twice with still one cover to go, I was worried it wasn't gonna happen. But I got the last cover on today's 10-box draw, so it's all good. That's a relief.

I also got Kate and Gwen recruited, along with Quicksilver who's the next guy from Ye Olde Expansion that I want. Been working on training all these new people all day.

Yeah, but still hard. I even only did the mini bosses seperately, and I still struggled with the boss. I think part of the problem is Cammi has no stamina, so she can't just keep putting mines on people each turn. I took Kate and Victor into battle, and Kate died.

hate that stupid praetorian guard e-iso.

Done playing the SO until tomorrow after sending off the 3rd research about 3 hours ago. So far, I've gotten the SO EIsos for X-23 and Spider-Gwen in the past 2 boss battles.

4 million silver for the 4th anniversary reward. That's more silver than I even had yesterday.

Not enough silver IMO. That's going to get used up pretty quickly, especially with all the heroes I have to train from Level 14 to 15 or 13 to 14. I've had that amount before, and it goes quickly.

But the only place she shows up (if you're playing Mission 3, which you probably are if you've just defeated Batroc) is in the boss fight against Baron Zemo.

But then, once you've completed the last research, Task 23 says: Defeat Baron Zemo (33.3 Boss).

You can't defeat him within the same go of that mission, which means you have actually play Mission 3 a total of 3 times, even if you could actually 3-star it in 2 goes. You have to exit after the 2nd time round to get those 3 stars, and then make an epic run all over again.

Cammi should've shown up as a team up in one of the mini boss fights. This seems like a waste of UISOs.

Sent off the final research a couple hours ago. Need to still do runs through M2 and M3 to 3 star them before doing a final epic run for Cammi. Down to 45 UIso so unless I hit a big UIso spot on the roulette, I'm not finishing until Saturday at the latest.

Not really a big deal since you have the 2-day research to do, which should give you enough time to collect more UIso for those runs. We have over a month now on this SO (32 today to go along with the 2 days we had already before the increase) so it's not exactly like you have to hurry that much.

What if for Task 20, you play the boss fight with Zemo and let him beat you? Then you play it again for Task 23 and win. I'm pretty sure I've done that in Spec Ops before.

Working on training the newly-recruited Spider-Girl, Spider-Gwen, and Kate Bishop. I usually train new recruits in groups of 10 to form a nice continuous training chain, but time is of the essence so I have to ignore my own system for now.

I suppose I could've done that but it's too late now since I've already exited the mission. Of course, that would mean you're stuck on mission 3 for days while waiting for the final research to end. Not that it would've made much difference in my case as I don't have enough UISOs to even play at the moment.

Used my gold to buy the Synthetic Cube since it was on sale. Maybe a fool's gambit, but worth a shot.

I'm saving mine for when the lockbox heroes go on sale again (hopefully they will).

I also see DD's Man Without Fear alts on sale. I thought we won those during DD's CO so we wouldn't have to buy them. Unless they'll be free again later. I can't remember what happens.
