Avengers Assemble - New Animated Series

Wolverine and the X-Men, & EMH get canned. And we get... This
I watched the latest episode, "Molecule Kid". The animation is horrid based on the standards of those shows. Heck, I HATE Ultimate Spider-Man, but at least the animation is consistent.

I sincerelly never liked Wolverine and the X-Men much, of the x-men shows (not counting that pilot) it's my least favourite.

Yeah, these shows leave a lot to be desired, though i think Ultimate Spider-Man is worse than Avengers Assembled, not because of the animation, but i get more angry while watching Ultimate while i feel AA is just incredibly mediocre

Are all episodes of EMH up on Netflix now? I only saw like up through the first Kang story and then no longer had DisneyXD, so I might watch through all of EMH once I get done with JLU.

I get you on that. I went ahead and finished the first season of Ultimate. I was so mad the entire time. AA I was just sitting there laughing at the spotty animation (when Molecule Kid was running on the rooftops ), and saying, "This isn't worst thing I've ever seen, but it's far from the best."

yeah they definitely didn't have their A team for that episode. That was some choppy ass animation.

nice to see EMH even as a flashback. though I don't remember that episode or Molecule Man.

Let's not forget the inconsistencies that this show being linked to EMH brings up. Why is Cap wearing a uniform similar to the one the Skrull-Cap wore? I think that the EMH style flash back was just a bone to fans of that show. It just makes little sense that this is a continuation. (Where is Widow's slight accent? Why is Falcon so young and just now became Falcon? ect. ect.) Could we at least get more comic accurate DTV's or something from MARVEL not connected to the sub par stuff they have produced so far for tv?

She didn't have an accent in EMH except for a couple scenes. Most of the time she spoke in an American accent. I think the only time she used a Russian accent was like when she was communicating to Hydra.

So, I guess I'm not gonna like this if I love EMH, huh? All I know is Thanos has shown up in season 2 and I wanna see that but I can't watch random episodes. I gotta see it from the beginning. This **** is boring as hell so far.

So, I guess I'm not gonna like this if I love EMH, huh? All I know is Thanos has shown up in season 2 and I wanna see that but I can't watch random episodes. I gotta see it from the beginning. This **** is boring as hell so far.

It doesn't get much better either.

Meh, I'm on episode 11 so far. Hasn't gotten much better but, it'll get the job done. I dunno what it was about EMH but it was just so damn good. Guess Marvel just wants more things to be more in line with what's going on in the movies now. I hate that. It's trickling down into the comics too. None should effect the other, that's why EMH was so good. It successfully weaved together a ton of stories from The Avengers entire history into a solid narrative. This isn't bad necessarily and there is an actual over arcing plot here but still, EMH was just so freakin' good. Plus, it kept Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch out. They get on my nerves and obviously weren't needed for EMH so I don't see why, in this instance, their inclusion in the movie is necessary.

save yourself the effort and time, it gets absolutely no better, in my opinion... this version of the Avengers is sorely lacking in all areas of story and animation...

buy the Avengers: EMH box set and rewatch it to see how a real Avengers animated is done properly.... your time will be better spent THAT way... and it'll make you appreciate it even MORE...

I think season 2 has been an improvement so far. Looks like they're heading toward the Infinity Gantlet as well as a showdown against Squadron Supreme. I like that they cast Anthony Ruivivar (who played Batman on Beware the Batman) as the voice of Nighthawk.
