Official Wolverine And The X-men, Episode 7 "Wolverine Vs. Hulk" Discussion Thread

This will be the all discussion thread for episode 7 of the series, title is pretty self-explanatory. Not really a spoiler since the Hulk appearance is confirmed in the trailer, and the writers and producers confirmed at SDCC that episode 7 would be the Wolverine/Hulk rematch from the new Hulk vs. Wolverine direct to DVD animation.

That's definitely an interesting implication that the animated short being released in January can tie into this new show. I wonder if this is something we will see more of in the future. That being animated shows tying into the Lionsgate animated DVD releases.

I mean judging from the promo image, I doubt Avengers: EMH will tie into any of Ultimate Avengers and PROBABLY not Next Avengers.

One of the better episodes, I thought; I liked Wolverine's characterization throughout, particularly his screwing over Fury at the end (I thought he'd groan in pain or something at the end, but instead he just smiled; heh).

I'm not one of those people who complain about Wolverine as an animated character because of the limited use his claws can find, but the amount of times he Snikts his claws in this episode was almost parodic (at least three times in a few seconds in the initial encounter with the Wendigo).

This Fury seems a mix of Ultimate and Famous Original Nick; he's got the latter's hairstyle, and the former's skin colour and shady attitude.

Interesting take on Wendigo (I thought that the fact that all the Wendigos kept their clothes (albeit torn) upon reversion was a sign of the magic nature, but, no, apparently just an S & P thing, which is odd, given that they make a point of showing Banner ripping all of his).

I like the idea of this episode because it shows other Marvel characters that aren't mutant or X-men related.

I mean we got Fury and Cap in Evo, but I think that was it.
