I think it was just teasing the civil war, I don't think they'll try to fit it into this season.

That was one of my fears as well, trying to cram too many storylines and characters into this season rather than focusing on The Avengers.

Also for those of you who did not believe this show is in danger, check out the below paragraph from a craveonline article about the show:

" Loeb recently said, when comparing the two shows at an Ultimate Spider-Man press event, that "Earth's Mightiest Heroes has a tremendous following, and one of the things that's very unique about that show is that it was at a time prior to my coming in, and so it is a very serialized show. There are a lot of characters. What we wanted to do with Spider-Man and going forward is to tell stories that were individualized. Obviously, we want everybody to watch the show every week, but we also know that people's time is often taken that way, so DVR the show. But if you're not going to do that, then the idea is you will be able to catch up. I don't want anybody to sit down on Sunday mornings at 11:00 and suddenly feel like 'oh, I lost the last three episodes, so I don't really know what's going on.' With Spidey, the only part that is a two-parter is the pilot."

I'm trying to read that as Loeb just segueing from an Avengers question back towards the subject of Spidey, but some part of my brain is insistent on interpreting that as a bad sign for a potential Season 3 of Avengers: EMH, which worries me, and the fact that the Disney XD exec at that event insisted that Season 3 is still "TBD" isn't helping with my nerd paranoia. The implication being that A:EMH is not "by Marvel, for Marvel," and thus might not fit in with the plans "going forward.""
 
That's a FB profile, not an actual page, which would be more fitting.
 
If there was a Civil War story I think it would be set up similar to what they did in Season 1 for the Secret Invasion and kree skrull war... just drop the idea of it here and there and maybe leave us with a cliffhanger like season 1 and then probably kick start Civil War right from the start of season 3 if not very soon after the start of it..

Sounds so wonderful, one can only hope it will come to fruition.

Basically they've been teasing CW all season1. Anytime Maria Hill is on screen or Cap and Iron Man are together in a scene there's clearly CW innuendos. Akin to JLU teasing the Cadmus thing all of seas3 and actually following through.
 
True, Hill has been her *****y little self from jump in regards to the heroes, but this was the first real Overt reference to CW,imho. that's all I was gettin' at.
 
Someone explain to me why all there cartoon series get canned so often. I mean isn't there like 5 or 6 different Spidey shows now? Why do they even bother if they all have to end in such a way.

This show is great btw.
why end it when avengers is about to become a house hold name is beyond me.
 
Oh, Avengers will continue. They are just going to make a new cartoon, that is just as stupid as Ultimate Spider-Man. I just hope someone smacks some sense into those guys. After a fantastic Season opener with "The private war of Doctor Doom", how can you not want to continue this series?
 
yep. if they show up i hope that's how they look. but it won't be :(

You're probably right unfortunately, but what's really amazing (moreoever nauseating) how much like politicians or salesman these Marvel Ent heads are. Whether it's Loeb or Quesada or Buckley or Bendis or Feige or Kyle or Yost or Brevoort or Alonso or Arad or Harras or Stan Lee himself etc etc they ALL paint every friggin project to be this ALL demographic pollyanna masterpiece and then when you go to watch this slop you see results like AVENGERS UNITED WE STAND or IRON MAN AA or FANTASTIC FOUR WGH or MARVEL SH SQUAD are the finished product they were shamelessly raving about all that time. These guys make Bill Clinton look like Ron Paul when they want to polish a toy manipulating turd. And CRAPPY toys at that. The MARVEL LEGENDS stuff is 1000000000000000x better than ANY TV or movie stuff.

And when that all fails they'll rationalize it by saying cliche' kiddified crap like "IT'S MADE FOR THE KIDS!" What these dunderheads fail to realize is KIDS don't want to see other kids on screen doing anything, they wanna see ADULT heroes doing the things they dream about. That's how I was as a kid and I'm sure you were too. Whenever I saw Zan and Jayna or Wendy and Marvin or Herbie the Robot or Batmite etc etc as a very lil kid my brain would just shut down and I felt spoken DOWN too.

And how many 1 or 2 season and out UNcritically acclaimed debacles over the years does Marvel need before they gut the whole animation division like a 18-64 basketball or 2-14 football team that just torches the place and collects the INsurance with #1 draft picks galore?

I know, I saw that preview and I was like 'wth registration??? Are they adding Civil War too??'

The tally: Secret Invasion, Kree/Skrull war, the Surtur thing (unconfirmed?) and various small side plots like tracking down the MoE. That's a lot to cram into a final season. And now the whole thing seems to be careening toward Civil War.
Dang.

Also, I agree, a Facebook page would be more accessible and appropriate than a profile.
 
I don't think Chris Yost is involved with the show at all anymore. Probably want to find some way to get it to Jeph Loeb, if anyone.
 
Better be renewed for a third season. Don't want another Ssm case.

Great! :) But I think TheCorpulent1 is right and Yost is out of the picture...I really hope this works.
 
I liked the page; anything to help. Hope this season will do well with the release of the movie.

I mean, this season will be pretty busy between the Kree/Skrull Invasion, Ultron's return, Surtur, and a few other big threats (including, possibly, Galactus), and the potential third season was referred to as the "magic season".
