I agree. All it needed to be was crowd pleasing, memorable and true to the comics and it did all of that brilliantly.

I like The Last Jedi too, but IMO, it's not.

The reviews are good reviews. They didn't go down the toilet like DC films. That's the important thing.

An 86 for a superhero film this huge and with so many characters that also needs its villain to live up to years of hype while still letting its heroes shine is a massive win. I'm fine with it. The Russos should be really proud, but they have more work to do!

I am a massive Star Wars fan. I really liked TLJ.

That being said - Infinity War was simply a better movie AND cinema experience for me.

I left TLJ feeling like they made several missteps for the franchise going forward, while I've left IW still thinking about what happened and the implications of what happened for the franchise.

One film made me cringe at the end, and the other one still has me thinking . Most of the critics would likely disagree with me when it comes to those two films.

I enjoyed IW regardless of what score it ends up with on RT.

Juz given the wi(l)der spectrum of critics any of these event movies cover, I would say anything about 75% on the tomatometer is an achievement for said film and its makers.

It will be emotional as all heck with the OGs. This will be the true final ride for some and passing that baton to the newbies.
