Infinity War Avengers: Infinity War SPOILER User Review Thread - Part 2

The fact that people are bringing meta knowledge into the movie isn't the movie's fault.
It's not the movie fault you know the schedule of Marvel's upcoming movies.
In the moment the deaths are haunting and effective.

Yup. I saw it twice in theatres and basically everyone was shocked. It paid off big time, not every person in the audience is us.

After 7 viewings, just wanted to post a few very mintor details, which I noticed and love about IW:

1. The Infinity Stones theme music - it played in the opening scene of The Avengers with the Tesseract and the Other's narration. It also plays in Infinity War in 3 scenes: Wong's introductory speech of the Stones, Vision arguing with Wanda about destroying the Mind Stone and Thanos waking up in the lake with the Soul Stone obtained in his hand. Great homage and attention to detail there!

2. Never noticed that the "A" symbol below Thanos in 2017's Comic-Con poster actually is being turned into dust. The clues were there all along! Great detail again!

Hehe. None were in IMAX, though. I am wondering if I should travel and go see it for an 8th viewing in IMAX?

My last chance is tomorrow and will cost me a lot of money, but i don't know....

Do it! I'm back at work tomorrow so it will be max once per week but I've already got Solo and Deadpool 2 booked which will take away viewings. Not sure what else is due out either. But any weekend that I'm free and that there isn't something else I want to see on I'll try and put in another viewing.

Absolutely yes. This is a once in a lifetime cinematic event. And you’re a fan of the genre, too. These films were shot entirely in IMAX so the true intention of the film’s scope can only be seen in IMAX. I refuse to see the film in regular 2.4. Go see it! Try to aim for a legit IMAX theater if your area, too. Not LieMAX.

I enjoyed the movie even more on my second viewing, which was Friday. Everything really smoothed out for me.

I do think it's funny that there is so much discussion surrounding whose fault it was.

Having seen the movie twice, I can confirm: [BLACKOUT]It was the Big Purple Guy's fault.[/BLACKOUT]

3 of them were on pre-orders for OW (in 2 of those cases my ticket was paid for), then I used my MoviePass the following weekend, and I went 3 times on $5 Tuesdays, LOL! So I've paid $15 bucks for 3 of those viewings

Indeed, as it was when he used his blaster to hit Thanos in the face, he hit one of Mantis’s hands and that made her release Thanno’s head when out of reflex she recoiled her hands from the pain of the blow.

After Black Panther I saw a fair amount. A Quiet Place, Ready Player One, Rampage, Pacific Rim 2, etc. There was stuff to see. Granted, many of these were movies on the bubble of me wanting to see them, but if I can see them basically for free, I'm like why not, LOL!

That’s the same for me on my deal. I now go and see the films that I would have been on the fence about.
