Regarding Thor power shows? Yeah he gets a few really good moments. I'll just say this "you should... you should have aimed for my head.."

How are they in comparison to Ragnarok's?

Its over pretty quick. Hulk gets a few good hits in but Thanos is a beast.

Does he do this without the power stone? Is it a strait up fight, strength?

Unbelievable experience.

The movie is like Mad Max: Fury Road. You get thrown in the middle of everything and then things keep coming towards you with unbelievable pace and extraodinary visual telling. There are some fecking brilliant shot in this movie (the beginning long shot of Tony Stark, the scene where Thanos kills Gamora). The script is solid, tidy and brave enough to come out of Disney's safe zone.

There are too many story arcs. But I'm surprised that they're so well made that I even delt that the movie was a little short, which wasn't.

But,...

Black Order is just so disappointing. The worst nerf belong to Proxima Midnight. I mean are you fecking kidding me ? She struggles against Widow and Okoye ? For feck sake. Ebony Maw is still nerfed but at least he shows some feat. The other 3 is just terrible.

Black Widow is so death-resistant that it becomes annoying. Give her an appropriate role in this kind of movie ! If not, just kill her. How the feck can a normal human survive in this kind of battle ? Falcon, you too. And even Cap. These 3 are so annoying. Cap's head should be demolished like meatballs explose when Thanos punch him. Widow should've die a few seconds into the Wakanda battle.
Thanos is nerfed a little bit. His punch is weak af but apart from that, he's amazing, very intimidating.

The depressing ending is kind of cool. It almost feels like a smart cliffhanger.

8.5/10. Only behind The Dark KNight, Batman Begins and Spiderman 2 in my ranking.

Just caught the movie.....

The spoilers are correct....yes they are. Some of the stuff which i thought was cool/not cool

1)Thor gets his eye back.......via rabbit (ie raccoon). Yup thats a fake eye he has there

2)Red Skull is in this movie...He is the dude in soul stone planet. He mention about holding the space stone long time ago and that brought him to this planet (.....nods to the first avenger).

3)Yup......all the heros who are getting a sequel after avengers 4 are dead (spidey, doc strange, all of the guardians except raccoon).

4)Why couldn't doc strange use the time stone on the ship after they dispatched E Mow ?

5)Hawkeye is not in this movie

6)Starlord is a d1ckhead....they were a few seconds from getting the gaunlet out and he loses control. Stark telling starlord to cool down was similar to Cap telling stark to do the same in civil war..... when he was looking at a video of bucky killing his parents

7)Thanos is sympathetic.... No 2 ways about it. If you think about it...his mission is noble. There is only finite resources in the galaxy/universe. If it is left uncheck....these civilizations will destroy themselves. So by killing half of them...he is saving the other half. You know what....i am down with that.

8) Hulk does not hulk out at terran/earth. The weakest character in this movie. He and stark did have lots of super funny exchanges earlier in the movie.

9)Where is valkyrie ? There are no scenes of her escaping. Maybe it might be in a deleted scene. Thanos (or was it black order...i can't remember) did mention in passing that he killed half the asguardians. Heimdall is dead. Loki is dead.


10)Those heros standing ironman, nebula, warmachine, rocket raccoon, Cap, michonne, banner, black widow, thor....

11)The movie started awesomely...... the middle portions were good (though i did not like the scenes where Thor forges his stormkiller weapon...was really slow), the ending was non-stop carnage (in a good way).....

12)BUT.....The ending is heartbroken. I don't think my son (5 years old) will like it. It is brutal.

13)Guess which scene got the most cheers and claps ? Its the cap's introduction scene when he catches proxima's weapon (with the avengers theme music blasting loudly).

14)The black order - Ebony Maw seems to leave the most impression. He is the most powered among the other 3 (who seem to be just brawlers). He does die the fastest among them

15)I know i said this previously....but starlord....you literally killed half the universe due to your emotions.

16)Thats it.... i am exausted. Its the best avengers film by far.......But i did not like the dark ending (although it is perfect in this context of the film).

btw.....how the heck does thanos know ironman's last name.

Another point...... Ironman, Strange, Spidey and guardians gave thanos more of a fight than the hero's at terran. Only Cap & Wanda manage to hold him off for a bit. The rest were despatched easily.

Well he is always with stark... he does get lots of hits (kicks) on thanos at one point (moving in and out of strange's portals).

He basically came out with the plan to take out the most powerful black order.

It could change later, I don't know for sure. It's an event, ambitious, heart-breaking and emotionally throughout but there are some things that prevent me to give it more than 9/10. I think one of them is that the Russos are not on that level yet to juggle this giant story perfectly. Overstuffed, I may say.

Thanos is great. One of the best MCU has to offer (I have to let it settle for a few days before deciding if he's the best MCU villain or not). Here's the thing, in his eyes his mission is noble and you can see why. I'm kinda disappointed with Black Order, however.

Also, Thor is amazing. He's now my favorite avenger after Cap.

With all that said, this film is worth the hype. It's huge and it's a worthy culmination of everything that MCU built until today. Although I think I like Ragnarok a bit more.

Kinda disappointed ? They are not even nerfed. They're embarressed. Apart from Ebony Maw who showed some feat. The other 3 may be the worst nerf from CBM character, beyond everyone's imagination.

In terms of pacing and execution. Of course it's not on the same level, but still a brilliant movie.
