I know I used to love cyclops too, that's kinda a major reason why I hate him so much now for how far he's fallen in so many ways.

My favorite Cyclops was the one that abandoned his wife and child. He didn't hide his shame over it. He faced it head on like a man and ended up making a quantum leap as a character.

I can't think of an issue where scott or logan loved each other. A grudging respect sure, but love? Not even in fanfic.

Where are you getting this from? What moments have made you think of this? Cause I can think of a million examples of them not liking each other at all, or even practically trying to kill each other but love? I think you're projecting more than basing on anything that's actually happened.

Their relationship was definetly interesting to say the least. Wolverine doesnt hate him. He actually does care about the guy and have had each other's back even when they dont get along. They are like a dysfunctional family. Most people dont always get along with their siblings but when push comes to shove, they tend to band together bc of the history and connection.

That last line in the first scan says alot: "Yeah, I've been known to give him a hard time - maybe more than once - but even an old warhorse like me knows a leader when I see one. And this Scott Summers, the guy in charge of the X-Men..? I'd follow him into Hell if he said he needed me." Even Wolverine is able to put his differences aside and stand by him when it counts. We'll see just how true this is in AvX

I said a grudging respect, I said that. But recent events have split them more than even jean did. I don't think he wants him dead (well except that recent time when he almost killed him) but I think he a steve carry a better connection now and wolverine is at his peak of acting smart so I could definitely see wolverine and the beast as well siding with cap.

Which would be a good thing storywise. When this is over I think those that did side with the avengers over the X-Men would have interesting character options and interactions with the other mutants whether the avengers turn out to be right (probably) or wrong.

I don't think writers have nearly hit the same chord with Logan and Steve as writers in the past did with Logan and Scott. Steve is totally clueless to Logan's role in Uncanny X-Force, Scott isn't. And that gives Scott an advantage over Cap. So if push comes to shove, I'd wager Logan would side with Scott. Personally, I think the story works better if Logan takes his own side.

oh yeah thats another thing that most forget and I didnt even think of. Is Steve even going to want Logan on his side if he finds out he rallied a team of killers to slay their enemies. Wolverine just may find his Avengers membership revoked if that were to come out.

Scott doesn't know about X-Force's revival yet but when he does find out, he'll be more understanding about it more than Steve ever will.

What people are forgetting is the other X-Mne. I am on the Cyclops and Wolverine loving each ohter like brothers side, but even if recent events have split them up, the Avengers look to also be fighting Storm and Colossus to name only two X-men featured and Wolverine does LOVE those to for sure since them kitty and Kurt have always been closure to Logan then anyone. He will not sit by and let the Avengers attack them imo.

thats true with the pheonix force If its jean and the Avengers are planning on stopping her, then the X-men would consider them the aggressors cause jean is a x-man. And if it is jean you can be dam sure whose side Logan will be on and Beast.

Except for that time a few months ago when they split up the mutants and about fought to the death. That's where they're currently at and that's why I could see wolverine pick the avengers, situationally dependent of course.

I'd say Beast should be pro-Avengers too but now the school is re-opened and he's a big part of that, it unfortunately changes thing.

yeah but who cares about what he has to say? Surely Scott doesnt. Beast turned his back on him ages ago. I fully expect Beast to show up yet again, ***** at him and then run away. He's been doing that for every major event since he "left" yet for some reason still comes back to whine like a little biyatch. Beast wants to be pro-Avenger? Good for him. He already chose that side a couple of years ago and no one is losing sleeping over it. Scott has bigger things to worry about then trying to get his punk self back on his side.

Scott does care about what Beast has to say. The thing is, Scott's only going to listen what he has to say. At the end of the day Scott isn't going to change for anybody. Beast and Storm both *****ed him out and nothing changed. Hank left pissed and Storm stayed. Kurt died right after giving Scott a piece of his mind and it did nothing to change Scott's tact.
