You mean like going from fight stage to stealth stage? It probably will be set up very similarly to that with a detective sequence thrown in here and there
Yeah, it feels very....hmm...."arcade-y". That's not to say it isn't fun. But I don't think that something like this (if it's like this) is worth the 50+ dollars I have the game paid off for.
The demo makes the game feel like it's rushing me forward. This is realistic because I'm supposed to be chasing someone, but I'm supposed to be stealthy too. So I'm supposed to rush while taking my time...Does that make sense?
I also feel like the boss and character interactions will be one or two time affairs. Like you fight Zsaz and then we might see him later on, but I feel like these characters are there more to be like "Hey, remember me?!" Than an intricate part of the story.
This isn't bad so much as it brings me back to that "arcade" feel.
And the story seems to be no more complicated than: Joker tricked you into bringing him back to Arkham, where he breaks out people to fight you and try to kill you.
I hope gameplay diversifies a bit and the story gets much deeper.
I mean it's not supposed to be a horror game, but if they had added in things to make you feel affraid of being out in the open..Maybe it would add a new feel for me. I'm not affraid of the bosses or thugs. I feel like I'm not locked in with them....They're locked in with me. And despite quoting Rorschach, that was the very premise behind arcade beat-em ups of yesteryear.
