SPOILERS for TDK.....

After seeing The Dark Knight 4 times...I thought....

Is Arkham Asylum pointless to see in Batman 3? To me, Arkham is only interesting due to the people who inhabit it. If Nolan doesnt get Cillian Murphy to come back as Scarecrow, if Two-Face is dead, and since Heath Ledger passed away....ummm.... there's no one in Arkham to see....

So is "no Arkham visit" a fact for Batman 3? I kinda think so.

What does Arkham have to do with just those three villains? And who knows how many villains batman put in arkham inbetween BB and TDK (Lets forget about GK for a second)

It's... an asylum. It was irrelevant to the central plot of The Dark Knight, and throwing it in there "just because" would have been a waste of time and money. I don't really know if it will be in the third film, nor do I care all that much. It was done almost perfectly in Batman Begins so I'm not sure it needs an entire story arc unto itself again.

Well If Nolans come out with an good story, I don't see why not?

In BB, Scarecrow was caught and questioned in the Asylum

In TDK, the Joker was caught and interrogated in the MCU.

In the sequel, [ __put_the_the_name_of_the_villain_here___ ] can be caught and sent to Arkham, and Batman sure find time to break in and pay a brief visit.

Why not?

But I agree, a fully populated (and classic) Arkham is designed for a more fully-fleshed Batman universe. There hasn't been enough characters presented, so I understand why a classic Arkham visit is not the best choice by now.

I agree. If the Nolans can come up with an interesting reason to use it again.

And let's not forget The Scarecrow could be back, Two-Face might not be dead and they could show a brief glimpse of The Joker in the next one.

Depends, if Hugo Strange were to become the new head psychiatrist than the Asylum could be interesting. Than I'm sure Scarecrow is in there too.
