i think he is in it mate tbh
That sounds like one of those where you have to go into Detective mode and find the pointed on question mark and period, line them up and then scan them. Just browse the room in DM and see if you can find the mark with the dot and the dot should be pretty close.
Maybe they're saving him for the sequel? The little riddles throughout the game could be a hint as him as the next main villain.
IGN.com -If you want to start a flame war, the graphics tend to be sharper on the Xbox 360 when compared to the PS3, which packs a 1.2 GB install that lasts for three minutes.

I don't have the game, but...it seems pretty obvious from the details you've given that you're supposed to make the chandelier fall down on said glass. Throw a batarang at it.Alright I'm stuck. I'm looking for Dr. Young and I'm at a part where I have the to save two hostages who are beneath a glass floor. You can't blow it up using your gel and the only thing thats lit up in Detective mode is the chandelier. I don't know what the hell to do

Thats all i can say. I just LOVE Scarecrows portrayal in this game. I hope the first time you encounter him isnt the last.

Climb climb climb climb. Look for vents.
It isn't. I just reached the portion of the game where he attacks you again, right out of the Arkham Library.
Again I've done this too but the vents lead no where
This game is insanely addictive, I've been playing for the last three hours and I am blown away by how engaging the gameplay is. A.A blows the doors off all previous batman titles.
