I'm glad to hear so many positive reviews, but many are saying the ending is really bad, though.

And did you guys know that the PC version was delayed to September 15?
Damn...and I'm dying to play it.

Of course. Me and all the others who play it on PC because we don't have a 360 or PS3.

It's not completely horrible, it's just that everything leading up to the finale is so much more exciting then the final boss.

well, most Batman games are like that....even the final battle in LEGO Batman is more of a puzzle than an actual battle

I am 5% complete in this. I started playing a bit yesterday. It is a lot of fun. I managed to get a 20 combo achievement in the combat rooms, the 40 one is going to take some practice.

The highest I've gotten is a 30 and I would've had a 40 if those pansies would've stayed alive for 1 more hit a piece.

But weren't the venom thugs on the same stuff Bane was on? He was pumped up with that experimental venom as well, it makes sense that they fight the same. I mean im not totally disagreeing with you, i felt the fight could have used more, i thought it was too easy but i didnt have a problem with Banes tactics, they fit. But it doesn't matter anyway, i dont put as much stock on one aspect of a game the way you do, that being boss battles.

Yeah, but this doesn't have to cater to all the rules of logic, it's a game cased on a comic. Neither of which is slightly realistic. From a gaming standpoint it simply makes no sense to have a boss character as a clone of a regular villain.

And if you want to delve into the logical side, surely Bane's body would have some build for venom. Even if this was a new type of Venom you would think he could something else besides run and throw rocks. I mean the fact that he goes over and consciously rips a piece of the pillars out to throw at you implies he's at least partially aware of what is going on. Why not make it a more regular, but of course more difficult, fight where he has instances of raging out because of the new venom, and that's when you can take advantage and get extra damage?

I'm not putting anymore "stock" into it then any of the other elements of the game. I do like boss battles, and think if a developer is going to do them they should put effort into them, but I'm not saying this ruins the game. However, I consider it a legitimate criticism

I just finished the game. Gave it a 9.8 up until the final boss fight, which, imo, was absolutely deplorable. It was so bad, so, so bad. Not the fight itself, because imo, the fight wasnt much different than the other fights but of what the fight was. It just felt really tacky. I hated it. Teardrop, you might as well not even finish the game because i KNOW you are going to just despise it. Had the game not of been nearly flawless, that ending, for me, could have ruined the whole thing, but luckily the rest of the game was almost perfect. Overall i give the game a 9.0 due to the fact it was so well made, played well, was fun, made you feel like Batman and up until the last 15 minutes, had a really great story. I had a blast with the game, deff the best superhero game to date.

I'm expecting it. I spoiled myself a little early and looked up what Joker's final form looked like. I cringed and sighed for a good long heave, but I'll still finish it. I'll just shake my head as I do

I picked up the strategy guide from GameStop (I rarely get them but I really want to get all the interview tapes) and the guy said they sold out of all their non-reserve copies.

Well, if it helps, the stuff after that is pretty cool. There is a police blotter that mentions Two-Face is up to no good, so thats a little treat, i guess.

Yea the store in my home town sold out as well. Im friends with the manager and we were talking about the game yesterday and i asked how they did and he informed me the were sold out at the time. He said the popularity of the game really jumped like 2 weeks before release.

So...the rumor is that there will be free (and new) DLC coming soon.

Apparently it's listed in the black bar in the main menu of both 360 and PS3 games.

got it today a day early thanks to play and have been playing for 3 hours - dont think I have got very far into it but am taking it nice and slow and enjoying it all

Beat it last night, like everyone else is saying the game is pretty much perfect except for the final boss. Everything right before and after the fight is awesome, so I won't complain too much. Hearing about Two-Face was raising a ruckus back in Gotham is just begging for a sequel.

I love the level of detail in everything... down near Croc's lair the feeding chart for the week has "Crocodile?" down for Sunday... that cracked me up.

Scarecrow's portions were awesome... I couldn't get enough of those.

Do they have the solution to all the riddles in it, too?

What about it the final battle did you not like? It seems as tho you are like me and loved everything except that small section and im curious as to what about it you didnt like.

The sucky thing about new games, no good FAQs. Those riddles are a ***** but what's killing me right now are the ones in the abandoned chamber in the botanical gardens. Can't even find the suckers, farless for reach them. Anybody here able to get all of Riddler's stuff in this room? All I can see right now is the impossible to reach trophy as soon as I walk in and I'm betting that's not the only thing that's way the hell up there.

To those that beat it, is it possible to go back and the rest of Riddler's challenges after? I'm tempted to just go ahead and finish right now.

Yes, once you beat the game, when go back to the main menu and hit Continue Story, the game will pick up right before the final boss battle and you have free roam of Arkham, just dont activate the battle.

The entire thing really. Mainly the final boss himself... just seemed like a fast and cheap way to finish it off. I think they really could've went in a different direction or something. Like I said everything leading up to it was awesome, so I can't complain too much.

To be honest the one thing that irritates me is the cardboard game case that came with the CE... I really wish it had the regular plastic one. It might be an odd thing to hate but now it doesn't match the rest of my games on my shelf. Maybe I can find someone to buy/trade cases with.
