I must be the only one who doesn't play games on hard. lol. Always normal mode.

I always play on Normal when I first get a game. I like to enjoy the experience and not be stressed out the whole time. Occasionally I'll dabble into hard afterwards (the achievements taunt me) but most of the time I never get very far. This game is actually not that difficult on Hard and I just beat it like 2 minutes ago.

COD4 on Veteran and Halo 3 on Legendary, however, are so irritating to me that I have given up.

It took me about a good 3 days to beat it on hard, im working on the combat challenges now and they are tough as hell for me to get the trophies.

right Ive heard that the visitor center is a very cool experience but I dont know where it is - i have searched and searched - any help

Its the building across from medical and to the side of the penitentiary, where the henchmen are doing construction work.

Basically go and visit it whenever you've cleared a bit of the story, it is a neat little bit of fun. For a moment there I felt like I was in a Silent Hill game.

Does anyone know how to get out of the sewers to get to Poison Ivy? I got the antidote and am trying to get to Poison Ivy, but I am in the sewers where the titan is in the water and Batman tells Oracle about what Joker is doing but when I get up to the door that I should be able to get out of it is covered with vines. So, I don't know how to get out of this room? Any ideas?

Go up to where the door covered by vines is. Zipline to the structure across from it. Go right and climb up there. Then go as far left as you can. Face perpendicular from that door and zipline to the other end of the structure. Climb up. Use Detective mode to find the destructible wall and use the Batclaw on it.

I pulled another all nighter with the game last night, I'm at around 63%, just chugging along, it rocks so hard it's not even funny!!!:D:up:

Haha, yes, yes it does. I just finished the game on Hard last night and thats deff the way to experience the game. The combat is so much more fun.

I prefer seeing the blue lines to be honest. Combat is already annoying enough when I'm yelling "I'M PRESSING ****ING TRIANGLE! HOW ARE THEY STILL HITTING ME?!"

I hated the blue lines from the start, i was hoping they were going to include an option to turn it off in all difficulty modes but ah well, guess thats what hard mode was for. I rarely get hit by any thugs, unless im in the middle of a move, i rarely missed a counter on my last, Hard play through.

I usually play a game on normal the first time around, so I can enjoy the story, but once I'm done I'll heat things up a bit on hard mode for more of a challenge to go after the Platinum trophy!!!:D:up:

I can't wait to get this game. I preordered it at amazon and it is finally shipping. I really hoped that I would have had it this weekend as the wife has been working all weekend, but didn't luck out.

Of course now I'll be playing it next weekend, which is the weekend before my first big exam this Fall.

For those that have beaten, about how long did it take for you to beat it?

2 achievements didn't register for me. Guess I have to do them and then fight the final boss again for it to save.

That's what I mean, these suckers will catch you mid move. God help your ass if you're up in the air. I honestly think this game could benefit from that keysi fighting method from the movies. Feet planted on the ground, always ready for an attack, no vulnerable mid-air attacks. :oldrazz:

Oh who am I kidding? The combat is the best I've played in an action game. They manage to make Batman's combat prowess a power like pushing a button for Superman's heat vision without making it too easy or too complicated or too unbelievable. It's just something that is. This game is going to be hard to top.

My first run, took a little over 9 hours. I finished at 80% complete and am still missing some of the Riddlers stuff. Once i go back and find the rest, thats probably another hour or 2.

My second playthrough, on hard, took about 7 hours and that was with little Riddler challenges being completed.

There is plenty of gameplay to be found in this game.

Thanks a bunch, I kept going over there but for some reason I didn't see the part I had to climb. Spent like 30 minutes looking for a way out. lol.

Yea, usually when i get hit mid move, its my fault. Like i try and go for a ground take down when there are multiple enemies around me. When there are a lot of ppl around you, just counter and hit, dont try for a take down move until the thugs numbers are a bit more thin.

So what does hard mode do? you die faster obviously, but what else?

Yea, you take a lot more damage, the enemy AI is a bit better(like theyll stay closer to each and watch each others backs more so than in the other modes) and you dont see the blue warning lines above the enemies head when they are about to strike. It makes combat much more rewarding.

Yeah, but I didn't really notice it being cheap in anyway. A lot of Hard or Insane modes in games just end up feeling really cheap, this wasn't bad at all.

The only part that gave me trouble is when you stop the sewage pumps and Joker sends down a bunch of people and a titan from the elevators. I had trouble with that part on normal and I really had trouble with it on hard. I beat the fight before last, with the two titans and a bunch of guys, in one try. I don't know what it is about that elevator section.

Oh yea, i agree completely. Thats why i say i wish i would have played Hard on my first play through as it was never frustrating.

Sweet, thanks for the head up
