Just the crazies you may not have taken out during story mode.

Oh God. I'm so ****ing demoralized right now. After playing for days, I just today complete all the Riddler's puzzles, and was in the middle of the last battle of the game. The game froze on me. I started over the machine. Save file is gone. It must have crashed while it was autosaving. All of that time spent getting those puzzles. Gone. I'm trying to tell myself it's just a game, but damn, I'm in a super low place right now.

Well, look at it this way, you get to play the game again!

No. That's hours wasted, no two way about it. Ouch. :o

It would be hilarious if they pulled an Eternal Darkness and the game randomly freeze or shut off and chalked it up to the Riddler hacking it.

....how am i supposed to get all the upgrades if theres no more goons?

also....when the riddler randomly says somthing like " you cant solve my riddles...give up" or wotever, does tht mean your close to one of his riddles?

You should be fairly close to all the upgrades by the end of the game, and the remaining XP from finding Riddler challenges is more than enough to unlock them all.

i'm in the sewer parts of the game, and i'm loving it so far.

still disappointed riddler doesn't make an appearance. he better be in the sequel. :cmad:

Yea, at least he is in there is some way tho, taunting you through your comm link. There is also some pretty amusing audio once you complete all 240 riddles.

There is no such thing as hours wasted in this game. Iv played through the game twice, found all of the riddles and am about to start another game. This has just been a fantastic game. Truly amazing.

Still haven't beaten this game. Right now I'm at the part where there are bombs on the gargoyles. It's very tricky. If anyone has any tips, definitely share.
What I did was grapple to the top of the office after I knock out one of the thugs. When the alarm goes off and a group of thugs huddle together, I used the batclaw to throw them over the edge of the walkway.

didnt Metal Gear Solid do this when you had to get the codec number off the cd case, when Psycho Mantis moved your controller and then read your memory card

Doesn't change the fact X-Men did it first.

Haha, one of my wussy friends asked me if the game was scary and i told him there were some times where the game was a bit creepy but he needed to man up and remember you are the gotdamn Batman.

You know for being "the gotdamn Batman" he dies pretty easy from gun fire among other things.

It does kind of suck that there is no comeback to gunfire in this game. Once more than one person is shooting at you, you really have no choice but to go up to the gargoyles.

You can use the hook if they aren't facing you. Haven't tried it when being shot at, there's not really enough time.

This is what Batman is. Fantasy, comic booky, badass, and sleek. I don't think the new movies are capturing any of that since they shoot for the realism bit (the movies are good, but it's not Batman to me).

This game made me take a hard look at Begins and TDK, and I concur with your statement, it wasn't the Batman I grew up with. I would never want to part with them or deny their existence, like I do with the Schumacher films and others. This game is the Batman I grew up with, right down to the actual voices of the characters. B89 was the inspiration for B:TAS, and I grew up with both. I will only admit the existence of B89, Batman Rturns, B:TAS, B:TNAS, Batman Beyond, JL, JLU, BB,TDK, and Batman: Arkahm Asylum as a part of the Batman universe. All other renditions are considered inferior in my book.

If there is one guy shooting at you for sure Bats is gonna take that dude out easily. All you have to do is quick batarang them and use the evade button to jump behind then put the hurt on them. I wouldn't take on no more than two guys when I'm bats three is pushing it though if they are both armed with automatic rifles. With shotguns you might be able to take out 3 they can only get one shot at a time.

I actually think Begins captured the elements nearly perfect. TDK is where it veered off into overt realism.

Depends on how you look at it. TDK had some detective elements in it that fans had been clamoring for a long time now

Sure, but Begins had that as well. The detective aspect doesn't really involve the tone.

To an extent but honestly I'd prefer my Batman movies to be as Nolan has made them, and for my Batman with comic influences to stay in animated series's and video games. I don't think Arkham Asylum would translate to film well at all.

why wouldnt it translate to film????
and I prefer the Arkham batsuit to anything we've seen in a movie

Well for one, a lot of the fun of Arkham Asylum is searching for riddles and using detective mode. I don't think Batman switching back and forth between normal vision and detective mode could happen on film. In a two-hour movie or so, you couldn't squeeze in all the villians without it seeming cluttered where as in B:AA the screentimes for the villians is perfect. All the subtle hints to lesser known villians would be near impossible to get on screen too. So I suppose unless the movie was 9 hours long like the game, it wouldn't happen.

Right. I hated how I would constantly say "ok, time to run now." I'm thinking "I'M BATMAN!" But it wasn't even just the running. It was the fact I had to run to the gargoyles every time.

I don't remember Riddler being such a freak.

"Oh, nice try. The answer is still a baby. It starts of crawling on four, true. Then you cut off its arms and it's forced to try and get around on two. Later it's given crutches and now it has three."

"That's disgusting. How can you say that?"

"Easily, actually. It's not MY baby."
