Batman: Arkham Asylum

The Bane fight was really cool, too bad it was a precurser for nothing but wave after wave of Bane fights. :(

I enjoyed them and making sure there were plenty of thugs between me and the chargey muscley guy

The boss fights in this sucked. We get about 10 enemies like Bane. Ivy you just chuck batarangs at her nonstop while running around. I don't think I need to mention the final boss.

They weren't the greatest but it didn't bother me. The combat system shines on the lowly thugs anyway, so I was glad they focused on throwing a lot of them at you throughout the game.

This.

I thought the boss fights were less than mediocre, but due to the fact that the rest of game was done so incredibly well, it didnt bother me. I dont really care that Bane fought like the other Venomed up thugs, i was just thrilled to be fighting Bane.

Btw there isn't a way to grab the riddler trophies witht he grapple gun right?

No. You either have to access it via another direction or use some one of your gadgets to bring you there or open it up.

Croc's segment was a little too long, but it was the best of the boss fights if you ask me. The Batman in Croc's territory, getting stalked

Yeah, the first time I did it I was really on edge.

I was on edge for the first 2 samples, but after that it just got annoying. Walk slow walk slow, there's Croc, throw, Croc fell, walk slow. That segment did go on too long with very little variation.

Ya, I think they could have changed it up a bit with Croc...

It's true, the fighting mechanic in the game made up for all the boss battles.

But why can't we have both? lol

Playing the game on hard, since I did it on normal, having trouble getting the 40combo achivement, and now I have to fight Ivy again I hated that battle on normal now on hard...oh man :(

Cuz Batman is so far above and beyond most of his foes on a combat level that i guess they couldn't find ways to incorporate that? I mean with this game, of all the villains you face, really only Bane and Croc stood any kind of chance of taking out Batman with hand to hand combat(not counting lame Joker boss battle). Bane tried the straight up approach, Croc tried the animalistic approach.

I just finished the game on hard! Batman: Arkham Asylum is officially my first 1000/1000 achievement game.

Nice. Im gonna try but damn the Shock and Awe and Rumble in the Jungle Extremes are killing me.

OK, I need someone's help. I am having a really hard time with finding one of the riddles. It's the one over by the docks and has the two wrecked ambulances at the foot of that building. It is directly across from the main entrance of the mansion. When I turn on Detective Mode, I see the green question mark, letting me know that I am close to solving a riddle, but I can't figure this one out to save my life. Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked that little hut thats on the docks? I think there is an interview tape in that one. You say when you turn on detective mode you see the question mark, do you mean you check your map and see the little green question mark moving around, or are you talking about the questions marks painted on the world that you have to line up with the dot?

I already have that interview tape, and yes I am talking about the painted mark. It's not on the ground level, it's up on the 3rd story I believe.
