Batman: Arkham Asylum

It would be amazing if they made a sequel based in Gotham (like GTA, the city as your playground) and they had co-op mode.

1st player: Batman +

2nd player:
- Robin
- Nightwing
- Batgirl

(character of your choosing)

F*** that, I've always loved the Bat-family. One of my favorite Batman quotes comes from Superman in one of the animated crossovers, where he says something like "For a guy who claims to be such a loner, you sure know how to pick a partner" after covering for Bruce with Tim the whole episode.

I love solo Batman...

But co-op would just be an option. Just for fun to add a multi player option

Imagine how awesome it would be to just be cruising around over rooftops, and then all of a sudden in the distance you see the batlight go on...

I imagine that could get annoying after a while. I mean, it's cool the first time, but imagine you're trying to get your sandbox on and Gordon's there like a nagging wife with the goddamned Bat-signal every five minutes. It'd be worse than GTA4's cell phone.

New villain trailer is coming btw guys. IGN Exclusive on GMT 0 5PM so uhm.. -5 GMT its like 1-2pm or so? If i'm right that is. =p

Eh, I've crossed the threshold with this game where I'm tired of seeing preview material and just want to hurry up and get the game already.

I dont mind Batman teaming up with other heros every now and then, but i despise the whole sidekick thing. Rather it be Robin or Batgirl or anyone else. I'm glad there is this recent trend of trying to act as tho the Bat-Family never existed, imo, it shouldn't have.

Haha same. Iv made my decision to purchase this long ago. Dont need to see anything else.

What recent trend are you referring to? I thought the Bat-family had been in full swing as of late.

By trend you mean just the two Nolan movies which are about Batman's early years?:whatever: Even in this game Batman is assisted by Oracle but we won't see Robin/Nightwing since Paul Dini made the story to be a psyhologial relationship between the Batman and Joker.

Really as this game seems to becoming quite a success (another early preview/review came giving it 90/100 and just saying it was too easy) i can except the next game to be Batman: Gotham City and that setting should definatly not ignore Robin/Nightwing and others.

Either him or Croc. Probably Scarecrow though since we've already seen Croc, even if briefly

Even without Robin Batman never really works alone.Alfred and Gordon have always worked with him. He's in the Justice League.Batman is no loner.

Exactly. I've never understood this whole "ooh Batman is so awesome he doesn't need anyone" while if it wasn't for Alfred Bruce would have died pretty damn swiftly. This is even exposed in Batman Begins for pete's sake.:brucebat:

There is only one thing i hate about the Nolan movies is that some people have been given the impression from those movies that Batman needs to be alone to be awesome.what they have to understand is A.It isn't Robin's fault those later Batman movies sucked.B.Nolan's films take place at the very beginning of Batman's career. So yea it makes sense for Robin not to be there.C.They should read Dark Victory.

Alfred and Gordon are the only partners I like him with... I've never liked Robin and I never will. Nightwing is cool sometimes, but I could still take him or leave him.

I am just not a fan of sidekicks, especially children sidekicks.

Having Alfred give Bruce radio assistance is not the same thing as having Robin and or Batgirl fighting next to Batman. One of those scenarios are fine, the other is just lame.

It doesn't matter tho, this game doesn't have you teaming up with Robin or the others. Thank God for that.

I would like to see the Cassandra Cain Batgirl as a playable or at least a skin.

I think its been stated that Nolan never wanted Robin to appear in his films, regardless if they were early years or not. We all know Bale is adamant about Robin not making an appearance. If the Nolan verse continues, we wont see Robin, i think we can be pretty sure of that.

I dont have problems with alt skins. I dont have a problem with the characters themselves, just dont want them to see em team up with Bats, at all.
