I beat the game on normal, went back and found all of the riddles, got the bronze achievement for both types of challenge room, and am now going to play on hard.

Yea i started another game on hard, imo, its waaayyy more fun. The combat is so much more rewarding. I should have played it on hard from the onset.

I would love to walk around Wayne Manor, train on simulations in the Batcave, and be able to do some stuff out of costume. I'd love to use the traps doors and secret passageways in the manor and test the defense systems for the Batcave. I'd like to use secret passages throughout Gotham, with gadget and vehicle stashes strewn about in secret areas. I know Bats has a similar setup in Wayne tower like he did at Arkahm. It would be cool if they gave us all of Gotham, I'd visit the asylum first, and find that It's still the same layout as the first and you can still go inside all the buildings! I can dream!

You could do that kinda in Batman and Robin for the ps1. But for gods sake don't play that game! :woot:

I'm the only person on the planet who liked that game I think. It was definitely the precursor to this one. Completely free roam. Good stuff. I should probably ebay a working copy sometime. People are probably trying to give that thing away.

I liked Batman Vengeance and the Adventures of Batman and Robin that came out for the Genesis...Mr. Freeze was the main villain in the latter

as for this game, its great...the ending is underwhelming, but the whole arena of death with Jim Gordon in an electric chair wired to said arena is a very Joker plan...

Just beat the game, and yes the final boss fight was terrible. It was still a blast to play.

question... why is it that everyone thinks the final boss battle was so lame? i dont play alot, if any games, that involve Boss Battles. i am more into FPS's and Splinter Cell type of games. the only games i have played on the 360 that technically have "bosses" are the two Gears of War games.

anyhow i thought it was pretty good, but what exactly were you guys wanting out of it? was it too easy? did not like jokers look? just curious is all

The NES games for Batman, for the most part, were awesome. Batman The Animated Series (although, I think it's officially called The Adventures of Batman and Robin) and Batman Returns were really fun games.

The Adventures of Batman and Robin on the genesis, the co-op beat 'em up was incredibly fun too. I must have played that thing 100 times with my brother.

i am much further
just smacked zsasz in the head!
who else liked the second scarecrow scene, with the waynes death!

Yeah, that was awesome. :D

Seeing the Waynes die again was kind of monotonous. I expected it because, really, they rehash that scene in virtually every single new Batman production ever. It was presented better than usual in AA, though.

I loved the effect of Scarecrow's Fear gas . The best one was we went from Wayne Manor to Crime Alley (To witness the death of Bruce's parents .) also I loved the twisted version of Batman in joker's place entering Arkham Asylum that was sick .

I loved that it went all side-scrolly for the Scarecrow bits. But that may just be because I played Shadow Complex like a madman before I got AA.

For me it was just the entire thing. The set up and layout was awesome, with the huge riot going on with the media getting involved, but the damn Hulk Joker just ruined the final battle. There's so many different directions they could've used. The previous boss encounters were pretty awesome, like Croc's whole segment, but it just seemed like they stopped trying to be unique with this one. Zelda games have the best bosses to me... the final battles in TP and WW were amazing. I would've been glad with just a good ole fashioned Joker beatdown, really.

How do you get the Mano-a-mano achievement? I duke it out with the titans, and I still never get it.

That's the one where you don't use a batarang. Correct?

i got the catach a batarang achievement today though (hint use the remote controlled one)

I had no problems getting through COD4 on Veteran, but all these free flow challenges are pissing me the **** off.

I guess this is one game I won't feel bad for not getting all the cheevos.
