I hate to ask for help, but I can't figure out how to get into the Batcave after retrieving the plant samples in the sewers. I've gone to were the map shows it is and through abandon corridor and I don't see anywhere to get into it. Detective mode hasn't help me either. Someone please help, Thanks.

My God this game is glorious. Playing this on my 360 while the media player played the Dark Knight soundtrack is one of the most rewarding experiences I've had all year.

The only way I could see multiplayer working for a game like this is if they brought in Robin, Nightwing, etc. And since there are plenty of folks out there that aren't too thrilled with the sidekick thing, it would probably be best to just leave it alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

That comic is hilarious. Kinda makes me wish he'd said that in the game, even though it would have been corny. :O

So what was the date that the first posts detailing stuff about the full game appear, so I know when to stop looking? And I thought the release date was September 15th, that's half a month away!!!

I want all my gear and moves at beginning of the sequel, and I can trade in for new/old items at the batcave or secret areas around Gotham. I also want some new moves added, but I can't think of what they might be, Aikido throws and grapples would look cool, maybe a human shield hold. Anyway, for one of the new items, I want smoke pellets.

Just started playing this. I have four words

Game of the year.

Anyone? I'd really like to dodge spoilers. Thankfully no one has posted any so far.

All I'm missing is 4 teeth in the Arkham Mansion I've gone through every inch of the place twice:cmad:

Heh, a great moment for the "I'm Batman" would have been after the last Scarecrow hallucination when he asks, "What Are You?!"

The game came out the 25th of August, so anything after that is probably off limits. Though I think this thread has been pretty spoiler free.

If you're really that concerned just stay out of the thread until you've played it.

Well after you exit crocs lair into the old sewer and take out the guards in that large room, there should be a vent somewhere that you can take to the outside, that will take you straight to the batcave.

Those ****ing riddles. :cmad:

Oh, and Scarecrow is absolutely awesome in this game.

a good mechanic for multiplayer could be what was used in Dark Athena where you have a group of players and one gets to be Batman until someone takes them out

I need a lot of practice on the Freeflow Challenge Rooms. I always get hit or get to cocky at around the x15 combo.

Is the Joker gameplay fun? I'll be getting a PS3 within the next couple of weeks and was just curious whether or not it was worth getting the game on that system( since I have heard multiplat games tend to look a bit better on the 360 which i already own)

The combat challenges are hard. You'd think it's fairly simple with a 2-button system, but it's hard to make it all the way through without getting hit. Especially when those *****ebags with cattleprods show up.

Game looks amazing on the PS3.

The textures are a little bit sharper on the 360, I've found, since the PS3 uses its own anti-aliasing method that tends to blur lines a bit. But it's barely noticeable. I have AA on PS3 and it looks fantastic.

The cattleprod thugs also annoyed me to no end in the beginning. Then I found out an easy solution - batclaw the suckers. They'll drop their prods and then you can continue smacking them as usual.

Hmm, I didn't know the batclaw disarmed people. I mostly just hate their equivalent in the Scarecrow map--skeletons with torches--because it's so easy to start racking up a big combo and then sort of drift into one of them by accident, and hitting them counts as getting hit, which makes you have to start all over from the flippin' beginning.

Well, I had no plans to buy this right away, but Best Buy has a buy one get one half off for 360 games, and since I already was buying GH5, I got Arkham Asylum with it.

So in about five days I'll know what all the hubbub is about.
