I got a pretty good time on the last challenge map and was ranked 14 in the world. A few days later I got knocked down to 21 lol. I think its safe to say the guys that are on top created the game. t:

i beat the game a few days ago, now im going for the challenges/trophies, really great game, my only complaints would be that u didnt get to use any vehicles and the enemies left out, i know they need to save them for the sequels, it was just such a tease solvin those riddles

I got all the Predator medals today and finally beat the first Shock and Awe after what seemed like my 50th try. Now all I have is the Extreme challenge's of Sewer Bat, Rumble in the Jungle and the other Shock and Awe.

Tonight's a good night.

Really, as long as Two-Face and Scarecrow are in it I'll be completely satisfied.

the predator challenges are a pain in the ass when you cant use the gargoyles. That extreme one in the library where you have to take out 2 guys with just the zip line has been kicking my ass all night. I cna never get them to line up just right. One always moves and I miss and then get shot to hell.

I'd like these in a sequel, I know I took most of them from the guide book, but they fit so well into a gotham setting.

Actual villians to fight in the sequel:
Twoface (with thugs), ra's al ghul, catwoman, clayface and scarecrow together, pengiun and mr.freeze, hush, firefly, riddler (with thugs), hugo strange, prometheus, black mask and great white shark (with thugs), mad hatter and tweedle dee/dumm either in game or as challenge map.

Villians as plotters (behind the scenes):
two face, hugo strange, scarecrow, calander man, riddler, mr.freeze.

Chllenge map villians:
the ratcatcher, maxie zeus(with followers), scarface/ventriloquist (with thugs), tweedle cousins and mad hatter.

Hero cameos and allies/small roles:
Alfred, comissioner gordon, oracle, batgirl, nightwing, creeper/jack ryder, joker (still in arkham) catwoman.

Well, I beat Shock and Awe extreme after about 20 attempts. Took me that long to find a fairly good strategy. Problem is I scored 24,850 or something like that. Basically, I have to virtually play that challenge map without getting hit to at least get the score then I have to make sure I beat the crap out of those regular enemy *****ers.

I fear this achievement may be the end of me. Either that or I'm really close to getting it but was just getting complacent in my attempts. I'm going to work most of the weekend to try and finish it since it is my last combat challenge. God help me.

The way I did it was that after I exploded the shock batarang, taking out the very first goon on that left aisle, I immediatley went to the aisle across from it and crouched down waiting for the others to tend to him. Then I zip lined and managed to get two, even with getting shot at and then going back to hiding.

Even though I got shot, I didn't care at that point due to all the times I tried to plan the attack.

You know what I do? First move is to grapple up to the top of the stack of cabinets in front of you. Walk forward a bit, then use the batclaw on the guy on your left to pull him over the edge. Then turn around and jump to the ramp below the gargoyle against the wall. Two, and then eventually three thugs will come to check out the guy you pulled over. First, I use the remote control batarang on them in order to get that medal. Then after I knock them down, use the zipline as they get it up. It usually works, but the hard part is getting the remote control batarang to knock all three down.

You know what I do? First movie is to grapple up to the top of the stack of cabinets in front of you. Walk forward a bit, then use the batclaw on the guy on your left to pull him over the edge. That part was easy.

What I did in regards to that was I took out the guy on the catwalk to your starting left with the sonic batarang. Then I went to the far end so that I could see him while from Corner Cover. When three of his friends came to investigate I used the remote batarang to take them all out (didn't even have to maneuver it and when they got up I used the zip line to hit them.

You only see his foot in a body bag with his name on a tag in the Arkham Mansion when trying to find a way into Dr. Young's office. Then after you've beaten the game and revisit that same place, you notice that the body is gone.

Yeah, I see myself playing this game for quite some time, it's very addictive. As you said, I would have enjoyed being able to handle the batmobile at some point in the game. Not sure how that would have fit in with the rest of the storyline though.

If you haven't been doing so, use the Zipline in place of the gargoyles. It's easier than grappling to and from gargoyles in some ways.

In the records room I just used the big filing cabinets as my hiding zone.

You know which one I'm having a tough time with, trying to use the zip line to knock someone over an edge.
