Batman: Arkham Asylum

In the records room I just used the big filing cabinets as my hiding zone.

You know which one I'm having a tough time with, trying to use the zip line to knock someone over an edge.
What I did is take out everyone first doing two medal challenges, then saving one last goon for that one particular challenge of knocking him off the edge.

Here's how I did it: After taking everyone out, retrace your steps back to where you first began the challenge. Go to the right side where there's a ladder and after you've climbed it, throw a sonic batarang right on the ground (close to the edge). Then hide behind the wall next to you and wait for the goon to come and check out the noise the batarang is making. Once he's doing that, stay a step behind him and shoot the zipline, this will automatically cause Bats to knock him off the edge.

It's actually easier if you zipline straight ahead to a platform below that central outpost. There's a guy facing to the right. Stand diagonally behind him and set up the zipline so you'll hit him off the ledge. May take a few tries to see where you need to set up from to knock him over. Just be careful of the guy on the other side as he'll see you and shoot if you keep going.

Holy crap I just beat Shock and Awe (Extreme) by an extra 16,000 points and I can't believe it! Woohoo! I haven't been this happy for an achievement since Mile High Club

You know what I do? First move is to grapple up to the top of the stack of cabinets in front of you. Walk forward a bit, then use the batclaw on the guy on your left to pull him over the edge. Then turn around and jump to the ramp below the gargoyle against the wall. Two, and then eventually three thugs will come to check out the guy you pulled over. First, I use the remote control batarang on them in order to get that medal. Then after I knock them down, use the zipline as they get it up. It usually works, but the hard part is getting the remote control batarang to knock all three down.

isnt that ramp below the gargoyle on the right on the 2nd level? I didnt think you could zip line down a level only across?

Gah i'm getting sick of BAA Official forums with all these Robin haters. *angry face*

I'm Pro-Dick Grayson and Pro-Tim Drake.

and Anti-Jason Todd. Hate that mother****er.

I would have voted him to die too.

I actually would like to see Jason Todd receiving a biography in Batman 2. Maybe as a villain but bleh. If they go and get Two-Face, Black Mask, Hush... all of those are gun blazers and i don't wanna see MORE repetive boss battles lol. =p

ironically the only predator trophy to give me trouble is the one where you have to drop down on a guy and knock him out forget the level, no mater what i do i can never seen to get it

Developer Rocksteady Studios has revealed a deliberate glich in the PC version of Batman: Arkham Asylum, planted to expose software pirates.

The bug came to light on September 4, when a user posted a message on the Eidos forums requesting help with the game.

"I've got a problem when it's time to use Batman's glide in the game. When I hold, like it's said to jump from one platform to another, Batman tries to open his wings again and again instead of gliding. So he [falls] down [into] poisoning gas. If somebody could [tell] me, what should I do there," they wrote.

When Eidos responded to the post, it was revealed that the problem was the result of a hook in the game's copy protection.

"The problem you have encountered is a hook in the copy protection, to catch out people who try and download cracked versions of the game for free. It's not a bug in the game's code, it's a bug in your moral code," the publisher replied.

Batman: Arkham Asylum was released for Xbox 360 and PS3 on August 28, with a PC version due on September 18.

Couldn't believe there was almost no mention of him. I'd love to be able to play as him in some sort of co op mode. At least make an appearance in the next one

Can't wait to play this once my broken hand heals. I broke it the day before it came out.

Guys what happens after the second boss battle/confrontation with the scarcrow? What next? Where do you go? My map isn't telling me anything.

In the next game I'd really like to fight people who can fight hand to hand with batman(hugo strange, ra's al ghul, prometheus ), it will creat more unique villian fights.
I'd also like villain double teams(two weaker villians to fight both at once, black mask and great white shark for example)
