You don't "watch" a videogame, you play it. Origins does have solid writing, but the gameplay, but it isn't near the game the first two are.

Also, why is Asylum's story so underrated?

Why are many of you so certain Joker will return cause this is the last game?,Rocksteady are the ones that killed him in the 2nd game.

They could simply have some references or maybe a flashback level

Because the Arkham series has literally been built on Batman and Joker's relationship. I can already see Scarecrow taking off his mask, and being revealed to be the Joker.

Well, I think the Arkham Origins sequel could live on by them simply saying that despite us knowing where it ends...that there are still stories to tell from the beginning.

If they showcase the first encounter with the Scarecrow, and the downfall of Harvey Dent...then the rise of Two-Face...I don't know, I think that'd be enough to justify it to fans.

Yea they can pretty much do anything, the only issue is they kinda shot themselves in the foot claiming Origins happened only like a year or 2 before Asylum. They didnt leave themselves much room, but they can always retcon what they need.

I don't mind that there is no traditional MP in the game, but I'm disappointed that they didn't at least throw in some optional co-op. I need another Batman game where I can beat up tons of punks, together with a friend.

This game sounds absolutely perfect. Like...hoooooly ****. Leave it to Rocksteady to completely blow everything they've already done out of the water. And I'm calling it now: the Arkham Knight is Hush with his new Bruce Wayne face.

Pretty sure they are yes, a few of the pics are concept art though. There's also no pre rendered cut scenes in the game.

I thought the gameplay was even better in Origins. Almost everything was improved. I felt like a snail, when I tried to play City after Origins.

Bingo, that one title wise works. but you still have to set a detaild time when you want to stop.


But with sequel's with the main one though the title it's self Arkham was too limiting with titles it's about the prison. and it's wasn't clicking mentally at all .

Just this year. More than likely this Fall, but if WB is smart, they'll release it during the holidays when people are getting new systems/games (especially since it's only on "current" gen)

Yea, October 14th has been popping up in some retailers systems. It could be a place holder date, but thats incredibly specific. Most place holder dates are Dec 31st.

The game takes place during Halloween, most likely we are looking at a late Sept/early Oct release, barring any delays.

I do get the impression this really could be it for the 'Arkham' series as a whole. Can't say I blame Rocksteady. They've done Batman three times now, been loyal to the brand and are allowed to brach out. In any case the game looks explosive. The Batmobile will be the star of the show. Glad we're getting to control it.
