Me too. We know how easily the Joker steals the spotlight and I really wanted Black Mask and Deathstroke to be the main bad guys in this game. I really could do without the Joker once again. My excitement went down a notch.

The trailer was awesome, though.

No. It's the third Arkham game, but not a sequel to the second game. The sequel is yet to come.

I'm interested to hear both the new Batman and Joker in the game. I didn't actually expect we'd see Joker in person. I wonder if it will feature an origin of sorts to his character? Maybe it will show how the Joker becomes Batman's main villain and starts off with the Joker still being an unknown entity to Batman at this point in time.

I'm also liking the TDK inspired batsuit. It's a nice change and seems a bit of an odd contrast since he's supposed to evolve into a more seemless costume in the Arkham series. Could this direction be permanent for the series as a whole or could he end up acquiring his previous games standard suit by the end of this one?

We know he's in Origins, but he could also be one of the side missions.

Well according to one site (IGN) he's separate to the main story as area lot of the most wanted missions.

So, there's another Arkham game coming after Origins huh? That's pretty sweet, one right after the other. Too bad about Deathstroke being just a challenge map thing. But I was fooling myself into thinking he'd be something more. Oh well. I'm betting the next Arkham game will be full on next gen.

I hope Joker is just in a side mission; Black Mask & Slade should be the main villains. Hell, Joker shouldn't have any grand schemes this early in his career anyway

I believe the original rumor was that the next Batman game would be "Silver age inspired prequel involving the Justice League and Batman's first run-in with the Joker."

So far, it seems like that was half-true with the game being a prequel and such, but clearly not silver age inspired. We'll have to wait and see if we get JL cameos and if this is in fact Bats and Joker's first dance.

Happy Deathstroke is playable.Nice trailer and I hope Black Mask and Slade get their time in the sun in this game. I think Joker might just be a side mission. One thing I really want to see in this game is a pre-Two Face Dent helping Batman out.
