Here's hoping Anarky isn't interested in killing civillians.

He's interested in blowing up corporate buildings instead, which are likely to be populated. :oldrazz:

But at least he seems to stick closer to actual anarchy than in Beware the Batman and even admires Batman a bit.

His story in BTBM is published?

He had his 1st episode last weekend, but here's hoping they develope his character into proper anarc hism.

Buu if this game's Anarky is also into murdering civillians.

I think it'll be the best. Bigger world. Promising looking story, hopefully the same perfect combat, new gadgets, awesome new foes, from the looks of it An awewomer Batman

I'm only halfway through Arkham City and I love it. I don't really want to read through this thread for fear of spoilers. Now, Origins has pretty much already got my money, but can someone give me a quick spoiler-free rundown? Why is this one shaping up to be the best in the series?

I am excited about the game due to the influence of 'Legends of the Dark Knight,' the bigger world, and varied villains. Plus, I love the side quest options: one of my criticisms of AC was that after the side quests were done, all that was left was to collect the Riddler trophies.

Not to mention the sidequests in AC felt nothing more than teases for the 3rd game, they didn't really conclude on their own.

Wow!!!!!

Also glad they didn't keep Robin as some punk street thug.

Seems like a neat concept from that trailer, here's hoping it's fun.

Mad hatter doesn't look any younger to me. Out of all the characters only joker looks younger. I really wish they emphasized Batman looking younger

They are by how inexperienced he is. Getting destroyed by Deathstroke, getting caught by Bane, being much more ruthless to thugs and Joker.

Multiplayer looks cool. I hope Robin is playable in the challenge maps because he was by far my favorite combatant

Oh well I won't be playing multiplayer. I stick to it's main story.

Nice. 3 VS 3 VS 2. That's gonna be interesting. I hope they don't bother to have the story mode make any sort of sense, and throw in tons of playable characters.

Throw in the whole Bat Family for MP.

Batman: Arkham Origins Multiplayer Hands-On Preview – Heroes and Zeroes

Interesting. I haven't played a multiplayer component to any game I have that isn't a fighting game since the late Metal Gear Online. I know Assassin's Creed, Uncharted and Red Dead Redemption all got them, but I just can't motivate myself to touch it.

I hope the maps are big in multiplayer. For it to work with 8 people running around it would have to be 4 to 6 times bigger than the biggest maps in Arkham City's challenge mode.

It's so strange that they would introduce such a different mechanic to multiplayer with what the author of the second article describes as "Delta squad in Gears of War." Perhaps it is an attempt to try to get the shooting game audience into the Arkham franchise.

I don't find it strange at all. Batman and Robin will play like they always did. But thugs would play completely different. So you have to introduce a style that fits them. So I'm completely find with thugs playing like a Squad from Gears of War.

By the way, the first link don't work for me.

I'm trying to figure out if this is Grayson or Drake. If it's Grayson, the costume & equipment don't make sense but if it's Drake, the timeline seems off. They say this is his second year in the Arkham-verse. So Grayson was Robin for a year and then Drake took over?
If I try to put Todd in there it's even more muddled.
Looks really cool though.
