Well I was hoping by the time she becomes inspired by batman, dick would be by his side since he was part of that and she was following him (in his Robin look) around to see bat's up close before she decides to make her bat girl costume . But it doesn't all out have to be that way. Well we'll see.

So she has a jacket and t shirt like that? It must have been a certain type of brand she was into for this or their making it that way..

Took a long time, finally got some new gameplay video.

Love that Batcave...

Part post-NML meets Burton meets Nolan.

So where is Killer Croc? He was confirmed by WB Montreal today right? No video or picture of him?

This may be different in the game and this is probably just from me playing too much GTA 5 but is anyone else a little worried that we have this wonderful huge open world to play as Batman in... but with nothing happening in 80% of it. I just look at it and it seems a little bland...

I think we're going to have to wait for Rocksteady's next installment for the next gen consoles for something more like that.

Although this game looks great so far, the open world aspect is what I'm worried about the most.

Open-world free roaming in games that take place in cities as large as Gotham and New York are always tricky. You always run in the trouble possibly creating a bland redundant & generic map with an unrealistic low amount of people if your map is too big - at least on this current gen. All open-world Spider-Man games in the past eight or so years are guilty of that.

Rocksteady knew this and were smart about it. That was part of the reason why the first game took place in an asylum. The second game does take place in Gotham City itself, but only in a specific part of the city that has been isolated, evacuated of citizens and replaced with criminals. They managed to avoid the problem so far due to that. They will go probably go bigger with the next game but since the next game will probably be on the next-gen, that problem wouldn't be an issue anymore by then.

Since this game will be going full-Gotham (or at least most-Gotham) and is a current gen, it worries me a bit that it might fall in that trap.

I don't know the GCPD looked pretty busy when they went in there.

The soundtrack and achievements/trophies list confirmed Killer Croc.

That Batcave is awesome, and I love how you can work on crime scenes from in there just like Batman does in the comics.

I think it'll be just like AC. Do you think it was bland?

I bought the excuse that there was no one around (but criminals) because it was a prison and it has been evacuated, so I didn't mind that there. Besides, I had plenty of Riddler trophies and side missions to keep me busy around the city.

I don't know how it is going to be in AO, but if there isn't enough to do outdoors, then yeah, it'll probably feel like a waste of space. I like to think that WBM won't let that happen. Now they have the excuse that it's Christmas night and everyone is at their homes, but I'll be disappointed if I don't see some civilians on the street. Bums, homeless, some people being mugged on their way home. This isn't a prison, this city is populated, so I expect to at least get this feeling.

Realistically speaking, a metropolitan city like Gotham would never be completely deserted regardless of snowstorms and whether or not it's Christmas Eve. I'm assuming and hope there will be some civilians around.

There's also supposed to be a major snow storm during that Christmas night as well even though the criminal's and GCPD are out running around as well.

Not likely if you been seeing what a lot of comic's writers and writing in general have been doing of late they're doing a lot of selective writing to have things the way they want it if they didn't plan to have bum's and hobo's there won't be any just like how Mr. Fantastic is the only hero that will be allowed to be in a marriage or other select thing/ crap some writers like to pull these days that people question some times, since 2000's pulled around. Then again who knows? They might surprise you also and show at least one homeless person and will just have him wave his hand at the event and go back to what he was doing.

Lol yeah like that. If they don't go all out they're all in homeless shelters for Christmas.

So there is something I'm wondering with the remote claw. I know it works by tethering two objects, a thug and....a fire extinguisher.

Now, with that system, could you like hang thug off a building orb the ceiling of a large room?

To be fair, after hours certain section of a city can be empty. I'll give two examples.

1. My current city, Pittsburgh. After eleven o'clock, the slice of the city where I live is 99% deserted. I ended up getting lost on a ghost tour and walking back was unnerved by how damn silent and empty it was. It was country-like, which is the last thing one would expect in a city such as this.
2. Paris. I got lost in the city around the same time frame as # 1 and was astonished how quiet and empty some of the streets were. I encountered a crowd of people near Notre Dame, but was astonished how the streets were, as I made my way back to Rue Mange.

Edit: I recognize that the forced premise of the empty video game streets is forced; I just wanted to provide anecdotal evidence, cos that's what I do for a living.

^ The problem is that, at least in the E3 footage, we were in downtown Gotham. The downtown of a major city is very often the most crowded area. Many people in cities like NY even celebrate Christmas downtown.

I got another question. The Nightfall pack. Is that a GameStop specific preorder bonus? Or does it come with any preorder copy? Like, if I preorder from Amazon, will I get it?
