If the grapnel boost is in Origins, and it appears it is, then that's another goof since in AC Alfred said it was still in the prototype stage.

It's one of those situations where it being in is a 'mistake', but taking it out would be even more annoying gameplay wise. This is just one of those things where you enjoy the game for what it is.

There's a lot of little annoyances like that thanks to this game being a prequel, but I'm just not going to make too big a deal outta them. Just going to enjoy the game for what it is on its own.

It's not a grapnel boost in Arkham Origins, but the GRAPPLE BOOST, pre-cursor to the GRAPNEL BOOST.

Think of it like Grapnel Boost 1.0. Grapnel Boost is 2.0 in Arkham City .

I mean just for example, crime scene reconstruction is like more advanced than anything Bats utilized in the last two games.

I think you just have to not sweat it and enjoy the ride.

I think Batcave is gonna be my favourite location in the game. I could just stay there. Great that Batmobile was in construction but I wish we could have flown the Batwing.

Quebec's government has invested $1.5 million in WB Games Montreal, developers of the upcoming Batman: Arkham Origins, as part of a five-year, $63 million expansion which will create 100 jobs at the company.

WB Montreal Studio Chief Martin Carrier predicted the studio would play host to 500 people and "be one of the best-known studios in the world" by 2018, CTV News reports. Premier Pauline Marois, who announced the grant, also said that the game development scene in Montreal was the top market in Canada, and that Montreal itself is one of the top three cities in the world leading game development.

WB Games Montreal will add 100 new jobs as it continues to grow beyond its original scope, receiving $1.5 million from the Quebec government. Announced in 2010, the studio was positioned to work on social and mobile projects, but is now on the verge of releasing its first triple-A game, Batman: Arkham Origins. "By the end of five years, it'll be 2018, there should be 500 people here and I think we'll be one of the best-known studios in the world," said Warner Brothers Interactive President Martin Tremblay. The studio currently has 325 employees, according to CTV.

The WB Games grant comes hot on the heels of another major investment by Quebec in publisher Ubisoft. The $373 million CAD ($362 million USD) Ubisoft investment is expected to add another 500 new jobs to the region by 2020, bringing Ubisoft's employee total in Quebec to 3,500.

Just because we're seeing an unfinished batmobile doesn't mean he doesn't already have a batmobile already. He's had multiple batmobiles throughout the years, and multiple batplanes too.

Technically yes, but I guess since this is considered Year 2 of Bats career. It can be overlooked. I like that their is reference to the car in the Batcave as you see the blueprints and also an early incompleted prototype being constructed.

Yeah, and I think it's more about the batwing's more instant nature. Zipping in and out of the cave directly into battle. It's not foreign to use one in the Arkhamverse either. Dropping off gadgets in the field, grappling away at the end of Asylum, etc.

And you know, going over the cinematics, the Origins Batman is perhaps the best looking I’ve seen. Namely the confrontation with Penguin before being taken away by Deathstroke. He’s lightning quick, isn't afraid whatsoever to throw a punch and when he does it's hard. Visually exciting stuff here.

The more I see of this intro boss battle the more hype I get. I love it!

I wonder who will be the final assassin to beat? Deathstroke I imagine will get a round two and might be the last, though historically Lady Shiva has always been Batman's toughest combat foe, given that she along with Cass are some of the only non-powered people that can straight up whoop his arse in a fight. I like Shiva so I hope it'll be her, but I doubt it, as cool as it would be.

I meant more just the generic thugs and such. But yes, I imagine her fight will be quite fun. Now if only they don't give Shiva high heels and triple Ds we'll be well on our way.
