I like BB, but I think TDK is the superior film by comparison. The choice of villains - Ra & Scarecrow vs Joker and Two Face - is better the second time around as well. I think Joker's presence in TDK just elevated the movie above its predecessor.

I like em both, equally. For me, they both served their different purposes....and served them well.

That being said....I feel that TDK is the best comic book movie....EVER!! For me, it has totally outclassed all other superhero movies......Spider-man, Xmen, TIH, Iron Man, and Superman Returns.....ESPECIALLY SUPERMAN RETURNS!!

As much as I like Batman Begins, The Dark Knight is triumphant.

The Joker alone elevated this movie but having him in along with Two-Face took the movie to new heights. Batman's two greatest villains of all time in one movie...with Nolan directing...how could it not have been good? BB will always hold a special place for me, but TDK surpassed it in every way. Oh, and did I mention there's no Katie Holmes in TDK? :hoboj:

Before TDK, Begins was my favourite super-hero movie. Now we have another winner..

TDK & TIH are tied as my favorite superhero movies, with BB & Iron Man being tied as my second favorite.

It's far surpassed B('89) in awesomeness. Still, all three (BB, TDK, B('89) are all awesome.

I can honestly say that since BB, ive never seen the original Keaton films again. Now its only for reference. They were fun as a kid though.

I am still fan of both Burton movies. They are just not as good as Nolan's movies.

I am still trying to forget those Schumacher ones though :woot:

I'll still occasionally watch B('89) & the other first three. I only watch B&R when I really want a good laugh at a ridiculous movie.

I caught the end of Batman Forever the other day on regular tv. It was so brutal i thought it was made by sci fi or something. Just horrible.

BF wasn't horrible to be, but wasn't great. It was kind of in the middle for me, and I'll watch it every now & again. Pretty good to me.

Ive seen Forever recently for reference... I always get a weird feeling after watching it. Nothing to think about, and bafoonish behavior, like when the villains laugh so hard and you know its painfully fake. Its so cartoonish and arbitrary you get a really hollow feeling after, especially after the new movies.

I got a new feeling after watching TDK...that I should do some jokerized schemes, and I still haven't decided on whether to do it or not.

Unfortunately for BB when TDK is out on dvd I will probably never watch BB again unless its as a precursor to TDK.

BF is a bad movie. It is cliche, the Riddler is lame (all his riddles are easy and that mind-sucking machine was dumb). Jones sucked as Two-Face, the Robin story was poorly done, etc.

Only thing I liked about it was Val Kilmer. Too bad his movie had to suck. Still, it is a masterpiece compared to its sequel :o

Wow, I only saw the end. But man was it bad. I thought it was a bad joke.

I actually caught Batman and Robin on tv a few days before seeing TDK.....

it was......painful......

I tried watching Batman & Robin 3 years ago for a friend of mine's movie review site he was trying to start.

I couldn't last 5 minutes. That movie is just so awful. Never tried to watch it since.

I saw Batman and Robin in a theater.. oh boy
