Madden is good but too short. he's like 5'8. or 5'9 tops

Keaton's height didn't matter because he's friggin Michael Keaton. He oozes charisma.

Madden is listed at 5'10".

It didn't matter for Keaton, cause he was playing alongside Jack Nicholson and Danny Devito.

I also don’t think height is that serious an issue.

Seen Craig in Logan Lucky, so he can pretty much do anything.

Listed is one thing. But he's barely an inch taller than 5'7 Kit Harrington who played Jon Snow.

Bruce Wayne should be at least 5'11 or 6 feet. They hit the jackpot with 6'2 Ben Affleck.

Not saying that height is all that important, but it's somewhat vital. If the best candidate was 5'7, they'd have him in 5inch lifts to appear 6 feet,

Exactly. He was 5'9. But in scenes with taller actors, it was a bit distracting how he looked somewhat shrimpy.

Affleck could be six-foot twenty and made of radiation and I’d still take Keaton over him.

That's because Keaton is always going to be the best Batman, and it's time for Affleck to go.

I'd GLADLY take a Batman Beyond or Kingdom Come movie with Keaton as Batman than another movie where Affleck phones it in

If Keaton returned, it'd break the internet

Just gimmie Jake G, I think he could redefine live action Batman.

The height thing doesn't really matter that much at this point. Only really Affleck's been the size Batman's supposed to be, it's not a huge deal.

That being said, perfect as Evans is as Cap I'd be lying if I said it doesn't bug me just a tiny bit he's...definitely not on the short side, but basically totally-average in height. Kinda makes me grin a bit in The Winter Soldier elevator scene, all the 20 Hydra black-ops goons pile in, and Captain Freakin' America - supposedly the most physically-imposing/dangerous human being in existence - is like the third or fourth shortest dude in the elevator. :oldrazz:

Just one of those things. Ideally, yeah, you'd sort of want someone 6'3" and broad shouldered and imposing, Chris Hemsworth size, as Bats or Cap. It's pretty unrealistic though, you overlook that in an instant if it's the right actor talent-wise. Hell, Diana Prince is probably supposed to be like 6'1" or something in the comics, it doesn't matter one iota that Gal isn't.

We're probably not getting someone Ben's size with a re-cast, even if the Gyllenhaal thing doesn't pan out, how many actors out there with the right look and chops are Affleck's size? Probably not many. It's fine.

Finding a 6'1 actress who has range and can handle physically activity is gonna be a tough find. A 5'9 actress is easier. Since it's still quite tall for a woman.

Plenty of 6'1 actors who can be Batman, but JG is the best option I would think though he is 5'11. Which is only 3 inches compared to Affleck. But someone mentioned Oscar Isaac who is 5'7. That wouldn't work despite him being a fantastic actor.

I totally agree about Chris Evans.

Thing is though, the type of costume Batfleck had, he looked too big and in JL he just looked out of shape, skinny legs and layers over his top half to bulk him out, i wish he wore a muscle suit under his trousers at the least, so we do see bulk and not just know it's foam padding. I felt the sizes of Bale, Keaton etc worked well.

Yeah, after seeing Jake in Nightcrawler, Prisoners, Southpaw, Brokeback Mountain, Nocturnal Animals and Donnie Darko, I'd watch him in anything.
