I think thw problem with small actors is exactly that, you limit how many casting choices you have for every other character. Imagine there's a really good 5'8 actress thst could play Catwoman, you'll not be able to get her

Agreed! It would be foolish to pass up a great actor like Oscar Isaac (if he even is up for the role) based solely on his height... At the end of the day acting is what matters. Like does height make Armie Hammer a better choice than Oscar Isaac? I would say no, but other may disagree.

You know, i was doing just this.... a lot of people either look the part now, but are older than they look so may age terribly... i just can't see him as a ninja.. like the physical side, he just doesn't come across as Batman. Bruce Wayne, 100% though. I also think he looks too tall at times.. i dunno, of all the known options to me, he will grow nicely into the role.

I could get behind Armie Hammer as Batman. Like many others have said though, he just seems like the obvious choice, and that’s not necessarily a bad thing I guess. Look at Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Strange.

Does Armie get suggested so much because of that Justice League Mortal project, or is there some other reason why people always seem to come back to him? Has he commented on playing Batman recently?

I'm just curious because he seems like one of about a hundred guys in his age range that could potentially fit the bill but doesn't really stand out to me. So I'm curious why people see him as the "obvious" choice.

Isaac is listed at 5'9". The average male height is 5'9.5".

More like 5'7.

I'd prefer a 6 foot or 6'1 for BW. But 5'11 is okay as well. But 5'7 is way too small despite the talent of Isaac.
