Okay, but until it's legitimately 100% confirmed and announced by Marvel, you can't just say " oh he's in Far From Home and that's an objective fact " . Maybe wait until it's really a fact before you say it's a fact.I’d bet my life savings Gyllenhaal is in Far From Home
Agreed. It's a shame because I really wanted Jake as Batman. It's not official, but he's as-close-to-confirmed as it gets. Pretty sure he's even been seen in London around production stuff for it, just not in costume.
He wouldn't be the first MCU person to get officially announced in a press conference pretty late in the game, either.
Topher Grace for Batman!
Dane Dehaan!

According to El Fanboy, two names currently circulating around casting agencies: Jack O'Connell and Noah Centineo (who?).
Sterling K. Brown?I'm guessing that mysterious third name is a black actor usually fancast as John Stewart.
Nah, if there's anything to this report, then it seems like they're looking for a younger, 20-something Bruce. So maybe Trevante Rhodes or someone like that.Sterling K. Brown?
Yeah, but Robles did go on to say, "based on everything I've heard about The Batman and the age range they're looking at... I'm kind of very surprised to hear that this person is apparently in the conversation." Oh see I didn't listen to the podcast so I was unaware of that little addendum. So I take back my first guess - it sounds like what makes this person an unexpected choice is simply his age compared to the other two candidates. So it could very well be one of the popular (somewhat older) fancasts for Hal.
